no problems at all. i have hids and they dont dim. only the interior lights do but not much at all. i think over 2000rms a high output alternator is needed. only the redtop in the back. but i wanna get a yellow top and switch them around. getting rid of the stock battery

good ok... on channels 1&2 are the lanzars 200rms each . 3&4 are the memphis 60rms each

thanks! i was almost gonna get the icons but i chose the xcons cuz maybe id want to add more power to them down the line. plus i like getting the biggest most powerful sub available. they sound great on the 2000d louder than i expected. i probably wont upgrade i need these eardrums to last for at least another 50 years

i know iam on another level, probably the loudest in town right now i will do a video soon, its only day 2 but its treatin me damn good so far it pounds very hard. i love em. dont know the exact size but its tuned to 33hrz. to everyone else thanks for the comments

i got it workin thank god! i couldnt get it by myself so i let a local shop do it. he says its runnin at 1ohm. but it was goin into protection the way you showed me. so he hooked it up to both channels still with 1000rms a piece. and my god is it loud! pics will be up soon... i hope its acceptable to wire it this way. thanks for the help pics will be up soon.

its raining right now so ill have to try it later. near the wire connects on the subs there is some brown residue that doesnt rub off. what is that?

ok ill give it a try. should i screw the subs in the box to do this test. or can i leave em hanging out just to see if it works?

im pretty sure he tried every possible way to wire them. but i will call and ask as soon as they open up around 10:00. what is the proper way to wire them to get them at 1ohm?

i need to speak with an associate with SSA. i installed my XCONs yesterday and there is a problem with the ohms being too low. i bought 2 dual 1 ohms and its reading .02 on the multi meter. as soon as i put music to them the amp went into protection mode. does anyone have a number to call so i can resolve this quickly. i dont have much patience to wait for emails back and forth. i just wont to send them back so they can correct my problem. thank you

Not sure who told you they don't like over 3v... but the limit is 6v. There are issues with fancy RCA cable connectors, though, many times they don't make good contact. Cheaper cables don't have this problem. do u consider the knukonceptz krystal cables fancy? ... i just bought them and i am buying some sundown amps I have seen those work for people... anything with high tech looking ends on the cable has the potential to be an issue, but not always. wish i knew the krystal kables could be a problem before i bought them.. as well as my KLM POWER AND GROUND WIRE for my 2000d. they say it handles up to 250a. 2000d require a 200a fuse right? so will i be ok with the KLM or not?

with my 2000d + 2 12xcon setup. is it possible in the future to strap an amp with less power to the xcons. for example can i strap and saz2000d and a saz1000 together? or do they have to be the same?

could you break this down for a newb. what this means. and how the saz 2000d will perform on my 2 xcons at 1ohm? does it mean it will push more than 1000rms to each sub?

hey guys. i need some input on what kinetic battery to use in the trunk. i have a stock alternator and my setup will be pushing around 2500watts. i plan on using a yellowtop up front. so my question is how many watts should my kinetic in the trunk be? the power cell calculator on the site says i should use (2) 1400watt power cells. which will be costly to me. any cheaper solutions? do i really need that much? input please and thank you.

im about to order the (2) 12"xcons in a day or two. just to make sure though. should i get the d1 or d2? with the (1) 2000d setup powering both. with a possible upgrade to (2) 2000d in the future.??
