  1. im guessing it will accept any size 0-and down since its a screw down type input.
  2. lol and he shouldnt, this is a damn good website.
  3. are ur gains actually set to 3400 watts? if so how the hell do u do it? massive amounts of batts or what? lol
  4. get a couple sa-8s and call it a day.
  5. basically just take out half of the backseat, like take out the whole back and just put a single bucket seat in the back and then put a box on the other side. best of both worlds.
  6. bc the truck isnt big enough to lay frame on that big of wheels without going through the hood, you would also need to notch ur frame to make way for ur tie rod ends to lay out, also anything over i think a 20" with a low pro tire u have to hack out some of ur firewall and make ur own and get rid of ur heat. its just not worth it...just lift it or go with a smaller rim.
  7. air ride is not difficult but u will never tuck and lay 26s or 28s with air ride on that truck. ur best bet is to lift it.
  8. yea the box is about the right size which is great, do u know the tuning? most of the time prefabs are tuned really really high so thats why its almost always better to build ur own box.
  9. get a recone...its all i can do, its pretty much fucked
  10. idk...i was just driving and all of a sudden it sounded like shit so i turned it down and went home and check it out and i pulled the sub out of the box and sure enuf like a 3 inch section was holding on by the surround.
  11. <Wishes the basket on his nightshade wouldnt have just broke so he could buy a new batt.
  12. ooo i didnt check youtube, but i thought it was like uber-hard to do one but by looking at that it doesnt look too bad at all.
  13. alright, so somehow the basket on my ns just broke like a 3" long peice off, only thing that is holding it on is the surround that is stuck to it. i googled how to do a recone and found this. [How To] Build or recone a speaker - Realm of Excursion i used a search on here and didnt find anything so i figured i would post this up for peoples information. if this is against the rules then by all means delete it. im not sure how that works. hope this helps somebody as much as its going to help me.
  14. put the cvr's in a box tuned alot lower, like 35hz or w/e u like, and then see if u still want to upgrade
  15. that box doesnt like like 11-12 cubes.
  16. yea they recommend 4-5. i figured 5 would be the best beings that im not running a ton of power so i would be more efficient.
  17. yea i can get the whole 145 that duran said, i already had my back seat out so its not a big deal to make a bigger box lol.
  18. This should be stickied, I used to think like that and being on this forum has opened my eyes up to a lot of things. When it comes to picking drivers I have to actually do some homework on them and there T/S Paramaters instead of just looking at price and if its rms is the same as my amplifier (how I used to be a year ago). I appreciate all the info and time your are putting aside to answer my questions. OP(Brandon) I do apologize for getting your thread off topic. lol it hasnt gotten off topic...lots of good info here
  19. so bkolfo4, i should go with durans original recommendation? keep in mind that i will b running 1500 watts to it.
  20. lol my backseat is already out, so i dont mind having that much port, i just want whats going to work best.
  21. id go with the ssd's, more cone area ftw!!!
