  1. well i dont have the q nemore but when i did i used a 6.3 cubic foot box tuned to 28 hz. and if they have ever built a box they should know. why dont u try building ur own box? its really not that hard if u have access to a power drill and a circular saw. i can show u how to get a basic design and it gives u the cut sheet and everything. that way u know that the box getting built is what u want.
  2. from what i have heard is that the bigger the box, the lower the output frequency. if u just want it to sound good all around i would go right in the middle and make ur box 6 cubes. but if i were u i would put that sub in a ported box, i tried mine in a sealed and then in a ported and ported sounded soooo much better.
  3. if ur facing the sub up, dont forget to allow room for the sub to mount in the top of the box and to give it some room for excursion, ur 16" tall is now probably about 12" tall.
  4. i think it looks great, post pics when u do it.
  5. off to monicals for some badass pizza!!!!
  6. ur probably gonna need at least a 200 amp alternator and probably 3 batteries at least. def 2 runs of 0 gauge and big three in 0 gauge
  7. if ur planning on upgrading to anything 1000 watts or more def get it fully loaded (all options) u will hear a difference and it will last much longer, as long as u use it correctly.
  8. sri shiz, didnt mean to be a pain in the ass.
  9. thats kool as hell, at my school, i just get yelled at for even talking about stereo systems
  10. the fone cord will not work for the 6 pin cables, u will have to go to a local shop or try to find one online.
  11. honestly i would probably go with 2 12"s, i dont know exactly how big ur trunk is, but im pretty sure u can fit 2 12's in there. also, i would run them off of something like an saz1500d depending on what you get, or u could check out the presale on the sae1200d.
  12. should be pretty rediculous.
  13. from what i have heard, xcons love the lows, the fi q pound the hell out of the lows (i had one) the nightshade tears up the lows, there are alot of subs that murder the lows on here, just gotta look around. idk much about ascendant audio but ik they have quality stuff. and im pretty sure ur car can handle 1500 watts. i have an older focus with stock electrical and the big 3 and im running a 1600 watt hifonics amp set at 1500 watts to a 18" nightshade, and my lights barely dim.
  14. alright kool, hopefully i can do it before my license suspension is up lol
  15. lol i didnt think it was possible to get more awesome-er than the v1, i will def have to send it in for the new coil soon. do u kno about when i would be able to? like would i have to wait till the v2 comes out?
  16. good deal, if i somehow ever need a recone i'll be hittin ya up.
  17. are you going to offer a recone from the v1 to the v2?
  18. not with 2 12s, but 2 15s then u would.
  19. i am a huge fan of pioneer but dont have any experience with either actual indash, but pioneers have always been wut i run.
  20. louder is really install dependent, but u will move more air with 2 15's as compared to 1 15. i would try building a new box for the cvr's first, then if ur not satisfied try upgrading, bc i have heard cvr 15s gett pretty darn loud.
  21. lol jay z has always sucked.
  22. exactly, and especially in canada, im guessing there is even less people there that have heard of fi. im selling my sub on craigslist and nobody shoots me offers either, except to trade for sony explodes. people dont even want to listen to it, bc in their minds, if best buy doesnt sell it then it isnt worth the money.
  23. in taking it easy's defense i think he was talking about me saying that i thought u were selling it a little high, its called post dumping, but thats not what i was trying to do.
