Welcome to the IHoP
I mount the driver upside down on a piece of scrap, flush trim around it, then mount that to another piece of scrap, flush trim again, then I have a mold exactly the width of whatever bit I use larger. I then use a larger bearing on the rabbeting bit and adjust accordingly for fitment. I'm not into loading the coil with a bunch of mdf dust. I suppose a bag/tape and such maneuver alleviates that though. Sorry, I presumed that protecting the driver need not be mentioned. I don't like to even be in a position where I need to...

I flush mount everything, but don't want to have to make a custom jig to do so.

Trunk rattle/vibration
Indeed, there are WAY better methods for preventing monster flex than deadener. What's amusing to me is that this is obvious to most when they build a box, but they don't apply it to the rest of the vehicle. There is a reason you don't see sub boxes built out of thin sheet metal with no bracing, lol.

Your eyes are the best detector. Pay attention and you'll be surprised how much warning you have.

A new Dcon????
In particular considering the size of enclosure the 10's go in. I don't see the benefit or need for an 8 in car audio.

Welcome to the IHoP
I'd take Stoli over Absolut, but I don't think Absolut is drinkable. Not that it will help you Teo, but another real logical buy is the Kirkland but unless you have a Costco you aren't getting that.

UV is a flavored type. I don't even know if they have unflavored. prior to kettle one my favorite was Shakers. And that's MN vodka. It's excelent actually. Sean is right though smirnoff is not good. If you're going to make bloody mary's you can try a pepper vodka. I've never had the russian style pepper vodka (starka(sp))but I have heard it will put hair on the chest of your sons. Really easy to add peppers to any vodka to make it pepper vodka, just takes a week
