  1. If you are a noob at this you are in over your head. You should start smaller otherwise add an "oops" factor to your budget that will cover your amps and your drivers.
  2. I agree. For those that don't get it, how do you think things were done in 1990?

I read descriptions of things though and it seems more like Lyme's disease than anything else. No frozen deer ticks here. Could have been in the hotel in San Jose though
  4. Kind of flat isn't so descriptive. Midbasses aren't your answer. The stock "22w" is probably less than 5w. 6x9's are not ackward, just aren't really any good options in that size. Doesn't mean you can't get midbass out of them. Rear midbass is strange though. Fixing the install on the front speaks and getting some power on them is step 1.
  5. Indeed I am. Doesn't mean I'll buy a piece of crap. Real components are required for an amp to be worth a shit.

Age? No, like hard to walk pain. Feels like I rode the sled 400mi J, but I haven't ridden in more than a week and it was a short 60. The more I sit/lay the worse it gets. Wondering if its left over from the sinus/cough/virus that I had.

Are all 4 of those collared shirts from AE?

It is a misnomer that large drivers play lower than small. If you claim it isn't the box, then its the ....
  9. Well it would help if you gave us some insight on the boat, the goals and such...

Why the hell are my leg and back muscles sore still. I haven't done jack. I sleep and they get worse. I don't get it.
  11. It WON'T work as advertised and as a tool isn't necessary. Understanding of resolution and uncertainty in measurement really alludes car audio I guess. :( :( I expect that at SMD, but not here.
  12. Yes I read it. Two options besides a different placement and if you used neither then your subjective idea of what you have is so biased you don't even see it. 3 way passive is not ever a good option IMO. *exception being of course when the passive is designed in situ* Problem being you can't isolate just one thing, the system is what is important and it is rarely the sum of the pieces. Complete goals are always easier to address. That being said, depending on the timeframe before you go to a real processor I would completely have different recommendations.
  13. You mean overpriced shit quality, already worn out, teeny bopper wanna be clothes. I despise all stores similar and really don't understand the draw. Looking sloppy should not be something you aspire to. We are about the only country in the world where that is the norm and it is sickening. I guess that would depend on your definition of sloppy. T-shirts and shorts is about the most comfortable thing to wear for me; can't stand collars, long pants, or closed toed shoes of any kind. I think Ted Williams said it best: "Ties are just maxi-pads for your neck". Ill fitting, worn out, offensive lyric'd, torn, and so on. I would also guarantee that your issue with collars and such are caused by ill-fitting clothes. Best decision I ever made was starting to have all my dress shirts and pants made for me. I am finally getting my first 'fully custom' set of suits before I leave here. Sean do you have any color or style recommendations? As for AE...........I think I have maybe 8 shirts from them, but they are all over 4 years old. I am going to need new clothes when we get home anyways. J Always start timeless, unless you are willing to go full boat from the get go.

It gets much worst At least once a year. They do a much better job of dressing that we do. WAY.
  15. And I am sure the algorithm that uses is a complete fail

  17. What amount of construction effort are you willing to put in? Either way, I'd start 2 way and buy used drivers so you can sell them and change later. No matter what you do and decide now, your tastes will change once you start playing. If not your tastes, your curiosity. Considering this is your first shot though, I'd definitely buy something you could flip for just shipping. Lol, what did you move your steering wheel to the center of the car? Tons of extra eq isn't a solution for T/A
  18. More than you'd put in a car as you don't get cabin gain. Need efficiency to, unless he is running a genset.

No idea, done shopping myself just surprised that prices are the same as they were in 2007

I hope its a way better deal than listed there as that is what I paid for miine, nearly 4 years ago and it is a 1080p More along the lines of 25% off MSRP Ouch, figured they would drop more. <--surprised

Like how a face to face with Mark was required to see the refund through....even if that is argued the timing is such that it is true.
  23. Just add MDF. Really.
