  1. Metal/Silk whatever have no pertinence in getting loud. Definitely won't be as harsh or nasty as a SuperSHittyTweeter though Harsh is not a function of material but poor design. Plenty of metal tweeters that sound stellar. Yes. Really by far your ONLY solution. If you are deaf and don't care about music at all bullet tweets will work but are FAR from ideal.
  2. Not very accurate on either accounts. 1500w is fine on your stock alt, just don't be stupid Running both on the 750 will theoretically not be louder if the coils weren't taken into account. 2x the cone area and half the power will pretty much wash. In this case since they are D2, if you are running a Kicker amp though you should run two otherwise you will be running the amp at 4ohms which is fine but you will still be at half power on a single driver.

    1. Go to Google maps. 2. Click "get directions." 3. Use Japan as a starting location & China as an ending location. 4. Go to step #43. 5. Laugh
  4. Considering the thread hasn't been touched in nearly 6 months that troll is you.

I saw some comparison shit from Whirlpool and according to them, top loaders are more efficient, clean better, and last longer, but more people like the front load ease of removal, and they can make them quiter, plus they don't last as long, so people will buy more, hence the big move to front loaders. This was actually in some training literature from the company. Why would they even print this? IT just takes one pissed off employee to spread it. Completely wrong. We've had them all (grew up in a family drycleaners) and there is no way in hell that a top loader cleans better or lasts longer.

I haven't looked recently, but had a Whirlpool Duet at my last house and it was great. What are you using the video camera for? Thought about a DSLR + Video option?

Ryan, sexiest girl you've ever put as your avy.
  12. *throws up in mouth* Depends on your needs, goals, power, etc. I'd never use something that thin, but I know bassheads who will disagree. Different goals. They don't list the thickness...You could send them an email and ask. the port can be trimmed to change tuned frequency (nice addition, not just tuned at 45hz and there you go). Edit after further reading, I think that box is good for a low powered subwoofer, but an Icon on a 1000watts is gonna tear that apart. HUGE problem with that box. It is 1.25cuft which is enough for a SEALED Icon. No way, no how will anything sound good in it. If you have to use it, seal the port and call it sealed. Port tuning is also seriously shit in that enclosure and not made for a "real" sub. It won't get torn apart if it is truly mdf, but I still don't recommend it for anything I'd own. Doubt the box has any bracing, I guess if the glue used is decent enough... Of course it doesn't, but look at the size of it. Even thin mdf isn't trivial to explode lol.

Thank goodness for Youtube. funny he didn't mention how fucking nice the interior is. According to the salesman you can actually use a bluetooth phone in it when not in sport, unlike any past Ferrari.

Crap, I would have watched that.
  16. When it is radiating the noise you are trying to make. I've first hand seen a pair of identical boxes (mounting location & cubic feet) where the thinner box was louder. Same reason deadening isn't always helpful.

Sounds like the coach announced it without the support of the owner. I say fire the coach instead.
  18. Huh? Bassheads want it loud. Sometimes flex isn't a bad thing For me, on the other end of the spectrum, it is a terrible thing.

The wording seems to have changed, could have been the local media screwing with him. Changed to: "Childress reportedly says Randy should be waived"

Not yet. Nothing is official, just speculation. Not what I saw locally. Cut.
