Welcome to the IHoP
As in recently? Like the last 11 days when you've been gone? OMG no. Sorry. I was on vacation. Saw some family up near Breezy point. I missed SSA but I commited to no internet and to concentrate on the W and me and what we need to do to get our futures straight. This was from when I purchased my first home. I am however having a hard time buying property number 3 and am extremely bitter. Ah, much better. I thought the story sounded too familiar.

15 inch Xcon as HT sub
It will still play music tuned in the teens.

Need a new clear and full speaker setup
You don't need rears. Music has NO surround sound....unless of course you bother with putting in a 5.1 system, which IMO is absurd in a car. Easy way to figure that one out, how many audio recordings do you have that are recorded in more than stereo? If you don't answer most of your music then you really should spend all of your money on your fronts and skip the rears.

Welcome to the IHoP
Other way around for me, its always shitty when I visit SoCal. SoCal is bomb because of me dude...I wanna see you in your new car dipping around lol...what part you guys from? Currently I am listening to the waves crash in Laguna Beach. SoCal sucks my left nut, very high on the list of places I never want to have to live. Sucks bad enough my office is here. Just because we finally got some rain, you are complaining? BTW, I live in Lakewood. Not about the rain, just in general I really despise the area. The scourge of the earth live here. And I get to pay for all the lazy arsehos who fucked up on their spending and it is centered right damn here. People suck, the weather does nothing for me, and neither does the irrigated desert. SoCal is the shitstick of the US IMO. Nope. SoCal is a beautiful place, you just gotta know where to go. Scourge of the earth...wow, that is a harsh statement. Lazy arsehos who fucked up their spendind...would not have happened if the pucking banks didnt let it happen. These banks saw a way to rape the US and promoted all these loans. People saw the cash and went for it, people all over the US. Shit, I lost my house, does that make me lazy? I think the way you feel about SoCal is the way I feel about MN. Land of the face nice people. Let me smile to your face and stab you in the back. Funny thing is I have the same response about MN. If you know where to go you'd still want to be there. As for SoCal, it is where my office is, I spend a lot of time there and have had a bunch of locals show me where to go. Hell its even free for me while I am there. Pretty much any other big city trumps the area for me. Nothing but fake crap and shitty people.

Yep, the BL 12" ported will do what you want WAY more than the Q. It is musical and not a competition sub.

SPL vs SQ
Not how 99.999% of people use it. Either way it is another subjective and stupid term for anyone to use. Somewhere between two polar opposites has a rather large window... Everytime I read Daily on this or other forums it is some dumbass who doesn't at all want SQ, but wants to be as loud as possible daily. Amusingly most of those people would have no idea if they had a one note wonder. I would agree that daily says you will play music, but has nothing at all in its description about fidelity. Obviously I listen to my system daily, but again this is about a term that is misused on the web as it has a subjective meaning. It is the average subjective meaning that we are describing and people that lean towards SQ don't use it. So in the middle yes, but hardly. Pretty much SPL, but not as extreme as modifying the sub for exclusively that purpose. thank you thats what i wanted to know. He was being sarcastic. Anything can play normal music. You don't have to have only one or the other. There is very much a range from 0-100 in the SPL-SQ ratio. You can definitely have a 50/50 mix IMO. For instance, my ported box tuned to 30 hz is about 50/50. It has a bit of a bloated 30-40 hz response, but definitely plays more frequencies better than a box tuned to 50 hz for an SPL competition would. e wasn't being sarcastic at all. Specifically designed SPL subs will not fare well with music and will destroy themselves. An SPL install should have an SPL driver, that is of course if you actually want to win which would mean indeed a true SPL install would destroy the sub if it were playing music. Not at all. Daily is another horribly inconsistent and never used appropriately term just like SQ and SPL. 99.999% of people that use the term daily are really referring to an SPL oriented sub that isn't so SPL oriented that it can actually play music. I just don't think a sub would destroy itself. If your box is tuned to 50 hz for a true SPL install you could still just raise your subsonic filter to 48 hz or so, and with a steep enough slope it should be fine. It will sound like poop because its usable frequency range will be so small, yes, but I don't see how having extra spiders, motor force, etc. would destroy a sub on music. I dare you to play music on a BTL with the SPL option.

Many smaller subs vs larger subs
The loudest will be the setup that gives you the most capability to have maximized your excursion and cone area per volume that you have available for you box. There is NO generic answer to your question and even specific answers might require testing although someone who is capable with modeling could determine it as well (and no I don't mean some jackass with a copy of BP6 as cabin gain is by far the hardest portion of the equation to model).

15" Q-Enclosure Question
Does it feel weird to say that? lol. I didn't say to my ears With all due respect, I really hope you're wrong I'm not. You would have realized this to had you actually asked some questions and done some research before your purchase.

Factory Processors
However, if you are truly going to run a 125.2 then all of the processing above is overkill as you can't run active with only 2 channels. When i read "Best possible sound without going overboard" it screams for the JBL solution. It will really help you in the learning process unlike any of the other choices. You can whack out any anomalies that the stock headunit adds and at the same time get a general setup for your drivers. While the general setup will be far from ideal, it will be way better than your first shot. And most definitely do not run those drivers sealed. If that is your goal, you should look elsewhere for a mid which potentially could make a lot of sense anyways if you are running active.

Welcome to the IHoP
Umm, lets see. My body was designed to eat meat. You should see how I react to a lack of protein... I tried to be a vegitarian and it was a nightmare. I spent a whole month vegan too. It cleaned me out, I felt refreshed when it was over, but I was constantly tired and it never went away. Here is what I know for a fact about nutrition. There are certain amino acids and fats that you cannot live without. Whole vegitarian foods can provide them, but it's tough to get enough. There is no such thing as an esential carbohydrate, and our bodies are designed to have a contingencey plan for lack of carbohydrates. prolonged lack of essential amino acids will kill, and definately makes people sick. You can see it everywhere in 3rd world countries. i know a professor at school, she's 50 and a vegetarian... qualified for the Boston marathon last year. pretty amazing IMO My colleague has run in the 50 and over class three times now and has placed 3, 4, 8 in the Boston...and he's also a vegetarian.

What is it on pro that you are looking for specifically that isn't on the other editions? Have no real idea, I figured it would make the networking work smoother. Perhaps I don't need it.

Welcome to the IHoP
he didn't want to work everyday and was pursuing world travel. dam, not a bad deal. should be interesting to watch SS under new ownership.. Hopefully better than ant. While ANT's info and knwoledge was questionable I had no product issues, or problems getting in contact. These new guys do not have his PR skills IMO. As for knowledge, they have yet to show that they have some. J Neither did Ant. I think he sold as he realized that his world was falling down around him. Perhaps I am giving him too much credit though.

15" Q-Enclosure Question
To clarify, terminology is not your friend. Exactly the reason we spell this out in the noob posting guidelines. SQ is NOT for you. Counterproductive to your goals. Stating what you want to do is MUCH better than stating what you think you want to do by shoehorning terms you don't yet understand. The BL will sound golden to your ears, you have no need to buy a Q and in fact it is counterproductive to your actual goals.

Welcome to the IHoP
Made of mostly air and damps sound, LOL. i ment to ask if you or anyone could see this being used in other environments besides those mentioned in the video? how long until second skin starts sticking aluminum in their sludge shit LOL! If Anthole still owned it a few well placed threads could make him do it. Would be rather funny to see him defend it. Not so different than adding shit to spectrum. Amazing how he'd defend something useless. Sort of makes the Ultra guys look legit, at least they are holding on to subjective claims where Ant just flat out was full of lies.
