    Time to make breakfast
  5. Nice addition! Some bugs 1) every time I use the zoom button it reloads the page. Not sure why. 2) the login page doesn't title where you should put what, luckily I could figure it out anyway 3) the View New Post button only brings up 1 thread. Potentially because I am on the PC and my phone at the same time. I am REALLY glad there is finally a View New Post button on the mobile screen though. I always try to read the new threads if of course they have a decent title. 4) it is significantly slower than the old mobile but of course with more graphics and a way better look I suppose it is from transferring more data *using Blackberry Bold with T-(shit)mobile
  6. Get rid of the Epicenter, it will do you zero benefit and actually make things worse. Completely inaudible difference. An amplifier for 1ohm will be cheaper to get the same power though. As long as it is a quality brand an amplifier is an amplifier IMO. I'd rather buy a well made piece used than a new budget brand though. As for best choice of SQ, that is more box, install, and setup related than driver. Having a sub that is optimized for a sealed enclosure would do you better, but with enough experimenting you can get that to work in a ported and still blend with your fronts.
  7. Won't be any on the East side of the state.
  8. I agree with BASSmaster (everytime I see that handle this week in particular I picture Kevin VanDam). I have never had a system where I ran the stock phasing on all drivers. You may have an anomaly that could easily be resolved by switching the phase on one of your mids. That being said, I also think your path is fine. If you are truly wanting more in the midrange a dedicated 3" driver will be "enough" although if you really want to wang you may have to have a second setting on your eq to roll it off higher in the passband to allow it to play louder. Of course you can compensate by rolling the midbass up a bit, but if you are going to really optimize the system for output mostly it would require a midbass than can extend a bit more than some. Glad you see the madness in my questioning...and the reason that the T&C's are so specific. It is WAY easier to help someone when they really let you know what they have and what they want to do. That being said, try switching the phase on a midrange and let us know what happens. In reality I would try every combination of phase with the front comps and see what sounds best. Before doing it I'd flatten any eq you have applied and start flat. Re-adjust after testing phase and report back
  9. Amusingly this topic is about a sub amp and that is absurd if you truly are so psycho-acoustically challenged that you think you can hear a difference. Of course I'd say the same about a highs amp in your car as well.
  10. Wow, an exception to the rule. Surely doesn't help IMO.

oh you can get some mighty tasty seafood out of the Gulf...just not salmon Trout, and reds nom nom nom nom <--not a fan of sea trout. Never had it at a restaurant either, only ones that I have caught in the Gulf myself. Should have been clean as I assume that March is cold water time. No idea on their normal cycles though and I did catch them in brackish water.

You got me. Never had a croaker. What is it like? Loves me some red drum, both on the line and the table.

All of those rolls are Americanized.

Actually more. Always amuses me when i am in California and they ask how I can eat the fish in MN. I then ask them what fish they eat and where it is caught locally. LOL. There is a difference though. Here we have a reliable source, in CA nothing is reliable. The fish at Coastal is better than anything I have had in CA ever.

you typically make home made sushi? By the way, I'm cooking salmon tomorrow any recipes/tips (electric stove FWIW) [i say this like it a question but I fully expect a thorough response] What are you having with it? Biggest key with Salmon is to get a piece that is good enough to eat raw and then hardly cook it. I prefer mine completely raw, but that isn't so unusual for me. Well i didn't get "sashimi" grade which was something like $11+ a pound, and the other "natural" salmon was priced similarly, so I got salmon that was $8 a pound I was at HEB though so I'm sure that wasn't the best place to start in the first place Even non-sashimi grade doesn't need to be cooked all the way through. If you were unlucky and had a really shitty piece the parasites that could be in it die at 140F. Personally I buy mine from a fish monger or have it sent to me from someone I know catching it in Alaska. Both of which I will eat plain raw.

And yes I make sushi at home.

My buddy is a eurotrash vehicle whore. He's the one who made me think about interior and the ford having nicer appointed insides. I was floored. If I wanted a 3 I would get the turbo 6 instead. Less insurance and could be tuned up to be something special. Maybe not an M eater, but much less cost over all. Probably less gas too. I am biased and still think the new 3 has a loser interior. I love the 5, but hate the 3. I realize they are similar, but the devils in the details and there are none in the 3. The ISF has a nicer interior and it is pretty lame (outside of the dual color seats which are fucking sweet)

Come on. Remember what I said earlier. Subs & Box BEFORE amp. Goals before sub or box. Really simple.

I know what you mean. Coastal is like 5 or 6 blocks away. I can't deal with that! I pay someone to make it as I have no clue how. It really isn't that hard to make Nigiri or rolls. Cutting the fish is the most difficult part, but even that isn't a big deal. Generally I prefer to just take cut sashimi and put it over a bowl of sushi rice. Make your own in each bite FTMFW. Quick, super easy, and healthy

On 08 should only be around $35k. I realize that what you will find are higher, but it is a joke.
  22. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
Indeed the new 3 has a very disappointing interior, doesn't help that it is smaller than the older ones on the inside as well...for my size frame anyways.

And you fucker, you made me want Sushi and considering Coastal takes to long to get to in rush hour that forces me to go out to eat. Much better deal to make it yourself, but I guess considering I eat out so little perhaps I shouldn't care.
