  1. Bad assumption. My backseat passengers regularly ask me what I have in the front AND back. My rear doors are sealed and there are NO drivers in them.
  2. Considering the OP can't control himself and has to result to name calling he has been warned and his thread closed. The goal of a forum is to create threads that not only help the person who makes the thread but those that search. This one will do neither.

http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/ Still a couple hundo. Considering the sensor costs them around $1 or so to make, I just figured someone would have taken some analog beast and made it more diy friendly. At that price Josh will probably fumble around with just the old fashioned guess and see how she runs.

the rods have fresh line and are bait'd up
  5. I feel sorry for you as you have obviously not ever heard a well setup front stage then. As for all the "why nots" I would ask you why. There is ABSOLUTELY no benefit to having rear anythings.

Weekend ftw here as well. Wired the dock for shore power Cleaned and waxed the boat Grout is now on the wall Sorted and cleaned up all my tackle, jesus do I have too much Part way through re-upholstering a 100yr old rocking chair for the w to booby-feed in Mowed, blowed, weeded, sprayed, and cleaned up the yard Built some boxes for the sisters boat. Sub box is done without the cut out and some comps are in enclosures to put on the dash while whooping it up Got CQC to control Pandora, my home stereo, and think I have a way figured out to sort my music on it as well Feel like I am forgetting something... And the last chore is to put fresh fishing line on 10 rods. I feel like there is something else

I met Josh at Maynards, he actually drove the bird. Tuning by guess ftl though. Any cheap wideband O2 solutions? Even if it was just a sensor and my multimeter, I'd like to help him nail this down before he does soemthing dumb.

50 bucks after wood.... That would be materials and then 25 bucks/hour for actual labor time? Shouldn't take more that 2 hours if you work SLOOOW. I'd charge double that, but to me 50/hr seems reasonable....as long as I am not paying

You could have borrowed my grill
  11. You made me re-read it about 4 times, but indeed the sentence is fine. The apostrophe is not supposed to be there indeed but BLs looks stupid but an error on my part. Moving that way is definitely a downgrade though.
  12. and applying resin to the box will weaken it. You should use sanding sealer like you are supposed to and not resin.
  13. Not a simple question as there are a 1000 potential answers.

My couple of tards statement was not referring to the noob threads either.

Next step, proving that resin on mdf is more brittle than just mdf.
  16. As always, since you are asking the question you want the BL. I'd bet money on it. Not what I'd do, but whatever as that is irrelevant. Also pretty dumb to want to do what others prefer. You really need to learn how to make a thread which would be to outline what you want and ask for suggestions. A/B comparison threads are stupid.
  17. And your idea of "blend" is subjective. There are some on this forum that would think they can blend something that is 30dB higher and some of us who truly want it to blend. Your arbitrary 6dB is not a rule of thumb or logical for the OP to try to follow.
  18. Keep the BL's as the downgrade is a silly idea.
  19. and in fact takes away strength
  20. And what frequency do you think your eyes can respond to?

I fail to see what he did wrong. now you can't disagree with people on a forum? Yes you can. Certainly didn't look like a 'regular' way of expressing his dissagreement (sp?) though I missed it and now its edited. Made Mike leave though. Amazing how a couple tards manage to pretty much turn off a great portion of the truly technical people here
  22. Even in a supercrew? Even in an Excursion
  23. Love ya to death Mike but I will have to disagree... I've put accelerometers on cones of woofers/drivers in the lab and mapped them out..they actually do stop for a few milliseconds and it is at the bottom of the wave form. I'm working on a compilation of information that we've found, i'll post it all up much later..but according to the accels at soft/full clip they do indeed stop at X and Y, and heat does build up at that time period... Accels are not a valid way to do that test, mass loading changes the damping and the whole system response. On top of that you are measuring acceleration and not velocity and with zero acceleration you can still have velocity. Time to redo your tests. Edit: didn't realized this was closed, either way my statement is valid and considering the other was left the response will stay.
