Hey PETE!

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Got a new computer. Thing kicks ass. 3lbs, 13" 1080p, tablet mode, i7, 16gb, 1tb ssd and rips. I've always hated HP's but they won. And yes J, even this pc which has a wimpy display has more PPI than the retina...barely, but more than plenty. It actually comes in a 4k option as well, but I didn't want it. Screen is small enough that it isn't necessary and the extra pixels just waste the battery. This beast ran installing software and all sorts of stuff ALL day and still had 30% left Should be a good 10+ hours anytime I need it.

You are the one not understanding. Time alignment effects staging dramatically. Even a VERY small change of inches can make a large difference. You should actually use your ears and listen to things before just throwing up on the forums. It would really help your posts make more sense. And yes I've driven S-10's, installed stereo's in S-10's and also understand the Physics of Acoustics.

Got my house plans back. Psyched- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Just another reason to get a lift. Too old to want to lie down- Introduction
Delayed. ROFL. You CAN'T adjust it out. Defies Physics. No way to make things aligned for both. Ok, perhaps there is a way in a mythical world where you can have each and every driver EXACTLY the same distance from the driver and passenger. Now if you tell me you were running an ambiophonic array then my statement would be different, but you said active 2 way...- TeamSSA Old School Mercedes, Old School Sound
Per unit weight and $ for deadening sludge is pointless.- 2002 Ford F-150 Super Crew
I always thought you were a Chevy guy. Nice truck. ....no longer the cable guy??- Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Sludge makes zero sense to me. No constrained layer = fail- Modeling Midbass Drivers 6.5"-7"
Look for anomalies. Drop outs aren't as disconcerting as peaks, but all can be dealt with via processing of necessary.- All Things Photo Talk
Everything lol. Retina is a marketing term for something that was designed 5 years ago...- Mini/small/micro amps
Polk/NVX/PPI have all been good to me. Have 5 of them currently and one micro. Micro is a mono on my subs and I have zero desire to upgrade- Modeling Midbass Drivers 6.5"-7"
Model at 10x vas and just compare midbass roll off. Sonic signature isn't something you are going to get insight on. For that reviewing the measured curves will give you hints however- Introduction

My current truck is using the stock angles which are similar to your "passenger" proposal but once I set it up to sound right in the drivers seat it sounds like ass in the passenger get seat. No surprise though as that HAS to be the case if you optimize for you. The cure is you demo with you sitting in the passenger seat. System is for you...build it for YOU
