I bought a 5 pound bag of rocks (the little ones for making a small garden pond) and slingshot for exactly that purpose. That and cats in heat... I grabbed the slingshot and some lead split shots from my tackle bag yesterday. Needless to say a non-round bb isn't easy to aim, lol.

As for louder, that will depend more on your box and installation, but I'd also agree that running 4kW daily is ridiculous.

Why not use 1"? Or better yet, 1.5" If he is just going to resin the inside of the box it will be weaker and not stronger. Make sure that he also uses mat and string as flat surfaces really aren't the best for fiberglass either and it will also need reinforcement. I'd expect it to be much cheaper to just use 1.5" instead of doing any fiberglass.

Bigger amp, BL, ported

On a side note, you can always make a bigger box smaller but you can't make a box that is too small bigger. I'd oversize it some and if you need just put some volume compensating 2x4's or something on the inside to experiment.

They make complete reproduction bodies though.

I run Everstart Marine's in the boat. Not an AGM, but they are easily warrantied and AGM's don't seem to last any longer when constantly cycled.

They are pretty related, although you could go a little bigger on the box. Sealed enclosures roll off at -12dB and not -24dB per octave so a F3 in the 40's isn't all that bad. Add a little cabin gain and you are fine.

Too bad if either the Challenger or the Camaro did anything for me, they are easily within work lease prices. I am just sure for the same money that an 06 Audi S4 will just make me happier all the way around.

Good classics there. I have some Strike King spinners to throw when I am tossing into junk that tends to get them either bit off or hung up so I don't love $7 baits. I have a rod that always has a black/blue or watermelon jig & pig on at all times as well....of course not this time of year as I am starting to throw the big stuff.
