Then ask for a blow job, either you will get one or she will leave. I did ask that, didn't get one and she didn't leave... Ask again.

It originally was going to be a Porsche, but they didn't want to make a "cheaper" car...crazy thing is they still made that Boxster crap.
  4. I hate the WRX. Ugly on the outside, shitty on the inside and they ride like hell. The Europeans think the Americans don't know what a suspension is for, but if this is the case the Japanese just flat out forgot to install one in that thing. It rides terrible.
  5. 99 out of a 100 people who ask this comparison should get the BL, I of course would prefer the Q but hey I am not most people

I feel ya man. Seems like its always something. I do not have the easy to access hole in the firewall like M5 does and I own the same year truck both EC and both z71. I don't even have a drill bit big enough for the 1/0 so I'm going to have to get a unibit, and I am considering running the Power wire under the truck because its damn dear impossible to get a drill bit in a descent spot on the firewall. On a good note though, box is on the way and seat lift is on the way! Still need an Icon... Sean, is your truck LT? Of course it is an LT, I don't buy stripped out vehicles. Full boat or bust. Crazy if that is the difference that causes the grommet to not be there. Perhaps calling it a grommet is misleading as it is covered in tar goop. Feel in the location for something that is like sticky silly putty and when you find it pull it out. It was just a hole in the dash with nothing running through it. I'm 99% sure I looked in the same spot as yours. Mine even has an indention and a flap cut in the fire wall foam/rubber where it should be.... I think my truck is LS but has all the bells and whistles of the LT w/o the leather seats. Unless they put onstar in the 02's I think I have it all Mine had Onstar, but I obviously don't give a shit about it and wouldn't pay for it. That has to be the stupidest option I have ever heard of.
  8. Oh, and you really want an old school amp that can deal with some load so you can just daisy chain some drivers.
  9. I wouldn't use in walls. If you can mount them you can mount normal drivers. Both need to be separated from their backwave.

That is true. Great cable management built in It also had the most underseat box space which was a factor in my purchase along with easy doors to work with. For stereo installation I am happy with my truck.
  11. You should go back and re-read your own thread as you obviously didn't comprehend the responses from your reply

I'm almost thinking about it and I CAN go through the firewall. I think the 1/0 will look sloppy under the carpet. There is a channel on the GM crap that is made for 1/0. There is not a single lump anywhere in the carpeting from it.

Except that it is a noisy pos and battling that is going to kill you.

    I wouldn't either.
  19. I had no dimming with an Interstate and a JL 1000/1 & 450/4 so you should really be fine. When I clipped it like hell testing the IXL my lights dimmed, but I am not surprised.
  20. And in an SQ install it is the front stage that will still be the limiting factor. 115dB out of a 10 isn't absurd, but that on a front stage will be extremely loud.
  21. So get something that is at least 2 years old, 20k or so miles and is certified for 100k. That way you can show them you are being smart by saving > 35% from the original price and getting better warranty coverage.
  22. I'd do a few things I'd never normally recommend. 1) Plan your subs to play way too high. On a party bus, who cares about staging. Bang for the buck in midbass will always follow cone area. A pair of reasonable 15's should work fine. 2) I'd go the lots of drivers route so that there is even volume throughout the cab. I'd pick 8ohm drivers, run 4 sets and have an amp capable of running at 2 ohms to power them and of course running the whole deal active. 3) I'd use metal tweets. Brighter seems more partyish to most people so give it to them. 4) I'd use dual headunits. Give them something in the back with a volume knob and have it go into the input to something with active controls by the driver. That will allow you to set the overall volume and have them not be able to fuck with your crossover settings. Your other option would be to set the gains careful and use something like an XM-6 hidden someplace...I might even sell you my DX-28 if you ask nice. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...tnumber=295-310 http://www.madisound.com/catalog/index.php...acturers_id=121 *yes if you had 1ohm stable front stage amps you could double the number of drivers edit: just noticed that there are still MJ18's available, get a pair to match up with the above and you will have one hell of a bus.

Having fun, yes. At the moment, I can't think of anyone who has space for a table. I already have one that I really don't use
  24. Not really, you'd be frickin' surprised what 115dB on a front stage sounds like
