The response curve looks easily adaptable to both almost on and off axis response in car. Obviously nothing will beat a really small diaphragm for off axis response, but the flexibility of such a low Fs will more than counteract that in more than 90% of installs. The last thing I need is another set of tweeters...but pretty sure my curiosity won't be squelched until I own a pair.

LR gets updated all the time even if you buy it. Plus cool updates are useless if they aren't the ones you need. Currently it is KICK ASS at white balance and that sort of processing. Also a KICK ASS cataloging system. Anything else you can do in Gimp for free.
