That link would be it. I only brought up the 2496 since I have seen one modded, the driverack I have not. I would also consider that RTA useless. As for the rux for the H701 put it in your glovebox, not your dash. Problem solved. Also by the time you mod the Behringer and get a pc you will have WAY more money into it than the H701/C701

Nevermind harder to obtain later on ... but if you can land a couple scholarships and/or work during those two years and come out even or ahead you are in really good shape. Not to mention all of the contacts you will make during those two years - job opportunities really start to open up. Actually, on the making contacts note, I highly suggest undergrads and grads going to school right now attend conferences in your field. Listen to the presentations and go to the booths ... that is a great way to nail down some great potential employers or contacts for future use. Right on.

I've heard that if you kill one, and set it out, all the others will stay away. Whether this actually works or not, I do not know. I hear if you kill them all they aren't coming back. People use fake owls on docks here and it seems somewhat effective. At least those docks seemingly have less bird shit on them, but perhaps this is for repelling a different type of bird.

Most of the stereo stuff I want comes from the EU anyway, so being entirely in Euros would help me out a ton Not to mention the fact that the dollar ain't worth shit over there.

You need to buy a 12v power supply from someone. Perhaps someone reading this can link you to a thread where that is possible, at the moment I would have to search a bunch but could later if no one else does.

Help with amp setting on two SAX 100.4
It is pretty hard to set the crossovers without some sort of analyzer; however, you can use some real defined test tones and a DMM as long as you remember that at the crossover point you will be down 3dB. Basically adjust your gains, play a tone well into your passband with the crossover off. Then play a tone at your crossover frequency and start to rotate the crossover visually until you are close while using the DMM looking for the 3dB down point. Of course as a check since you know your slope you should play a tone an octave higher to make sure your attenuation is pretty close.

Pioneer P9 combo would also work. The Behringer 2496 with a 12v mod will do what you need as well.

Even still if you took away the expense of communting that 58 is down to 43k if not lower once you figure in taxes. I'd rather spend the extra to live right near where I work.

Welcome to the IHoP
I do realize, but unless you are completely frugal it will be at least $10k and for most people more.

moved to IA forum since it seems to me you are asking what is an acceptable electrical system for an IA40.1

Welcome to the IHoP
And the cost of commuting an hour each way is? The government would say that it is $13,500 a year. 250 days, 100mi day, $.54 a mile. That is after tax as well, so you better make $20k more a year than you would living rurally. Rarely does distance really help you in the long run. Then when you add the fact you lose 10 hours a week commuting it is crazy dumb if you ask me.

It isn't really possible to single out the vlave and test it as it has to stay in place while all the processes continue to work around it. Expensive is relative and this is for an expense for a Fortune 500 company You need a doppler flow meter then, but they will be even more than the solution above. We have a doppler flow meter, but doppler is only for liquid flow with airbubbles and dirt/debri in the water. Probably just going to tap and go with something basic. We really need only a barbaric reading. If the meter measures flow then we have to change the valve. This is my first little project at my new job. Is it just a valve you are testing? I guess I don't quite understand exactly what you need to do.

Welcome to the IHoP
only thing I'll give 'em is good food everything else... yikes I'd be interested in hearing an explanation. I've been to florida once (like 10 years ago to go to disneyland when my little brother and sister were like 7-8). We were just in Orlando, though, and it just seemed real tourist-y. and of course lots of old people in florida. and one of my friends is thinking he wants to move to south carolina. I've always though it would be decent to live in a place like that, next to the ocean, trees (hey I'm from kansas, haha), etc. My aunt lives in Louisiana and we've visited her a couple times. Doesn't seem too bad other than just kinda being....a little more poor I guess. So it "seems" ok to me. But I'd like to hear the negatives so that I have a more realistic view. I know South East Texas is one of the cheapest places to live in America whihc mean more toyz for me Actually it means lower pay and therefore the same toys
