The only issue is that may require sticking with an automatic as it could throw the TKO out of his budget they're both big block Pontiacs, right? yep personally, I'd rather have the 350/TKO than the 400/auto True, but then he'd have extra money so the 400 would be supercharged as well. Counting pennies at this point and the extra $1k for the engine ruins the tranny, but the tranny is $4k so $3k of power adder time. Personally, I'd still do the tranny and hope to save up later for the s/c for the 350.
