  1. High end does not equate to expensive. High end has value. This is just expensive. It doesn't have a w6 and I wouldn't put a pair in it either (even if they fit) unless of course someone sold them to me for $100 ea. The w7 I would never run again. At MSRP these things are retarded.
  2. I have a 5 and 7 year old. Need the back seat.
  3. I have a w6... You again don't read what I type. I didn't say that JL sucks, but that for the money it is absurd.
  4. Unobtrusive bass
  5. Easy to mount too. A couple zip ties and small holes in the carpet, lol.
  6. If the amps are truly only 1ohm stable then it is guaranteed to fail. Either way, running 0.5 ohm in a daily driver is a bit absurd.
  7. And did I already say they were small?
  8. Are you saying they are coming out of the closet? If I weren't 6'7" I'd have a GT sitting in my garage as well.
  9. Had no time to do any listening or to play with eq, t/a, phase, etc. Hell had pretty much no time to listen to it. Will level set it appropriately tomorrow and dial it in. Then do some listening and can post up some thoughts.
  10. The little NVX is impressive though. Full gain and no noise. ....so yeah, that is where i left it. Think perhaps it is because it expects a stronger signal than I have Although from an Engineering perspective making it so that the gain can't be turned up so far there is thermal noise is a quality, not a concern. At full womp my front stage buries the sub, but it provides exactly what I need anywhere else. The bottom octave is no longer a sad point in the install and it blends seamlessly so it is just what the big ugly needed.
  11. I paid 25% of MSRP otherwise I wouldn't own it. Form factor was the exclusive reason.
  12. The JL quality is completely underwhelming
  13. Steathbox and mini nvx are installed.
  14. New contend3r for the title of better sound through marketing
  15. I was specifically toldbforbthe name and infrastructure not products lol
  16. Apple owns beats...
  17. de de de, don't they realize they are losing monstrous market share already? The fanboys that stay on the band wagon seriously aren't much for thinking...
  18. Or you could get a new Iphone. They've always been great with music. So much so now they cut out the headphone jack. Sweet. fuckin' idiots
  19. First thing I might do is try another browser. This version of the forum works better on Firefox for me. Nice boots btw!
  20. Just checked your gallery, it works fine. Added an image to it for you. Perhaps you needed to create an album first?
  21. Images added to a gallery album owned by ///M5 in Automotive Related
  22. The last picture was NOT on my phone. 1.4 Fstop ftmfw. Kitchen was a fucking mess...but you can hardly tell
  23. Does it have the capability to lower the volume while on the phone? Damn Alclair's are too sensitive
  24. SQ oriented means single driver for a given frequency range, single driver is your limit in output. Of course you can compromise anything. No matter what you do, keeping the driver out of the beaming range will really help. Means your 15" "Mid" is good to about 450Hz although you could stretch that a bit in a car. Let's just say you go the route above and put in a 4 way front stage. How much midbass are you going to get from a 15" driver in dB? You are WAY into the realm of uber compromises btw, the one you cannot get around however is the fact you don't have nearly enough space to do what you want. You would also go deaf rather quickly listening at those levels. Perhaps you should reconsider your goals or accept the fact you are much more of a basshead.
