Last night would have been a epic hang out and I NEEDED a cigar.Was sitting in a beer garden in a small village after racing chucking German beer. They are having a festival tonight so ALL the farmers were making haybales and driving them right past us. And by right past I mean within 6' of where I was sitting. All the city folk were confused and I felt at home. Was awesome. Truly a memory. That sounds great. I'm jealous of your traveling. I think it would be good for me and my marriage if I was gone more. When you have time off we should do some night boating. Cigars and whisky style. Don't be jealous, that spurt only lasts a little while. If I change jobs it'll be more travelling.

Just an fyi, you asked about output. You will lose SPL, but gain output. The Skar's are terrible drivers if you plan on listening to music. The specifications and "design" plan for them yields results that make me puke. Of course with reduced frequency range comes efficiency so burping a single tone perhaps would be impressive. Of course it is really rare to find music that has only that note in the bass line (and if you do I'm sure it's shitty music) so the benefits of having a driver that can truly perform will yield you large improvements. That being said, if the Skar's were in the wrong box then you may even win across the board.

Karma has been super good to me on this trip. Free flight change to better flights on the way out. Timed the trains (which only go every 2 hours) within 3 minutes of BOTH arrivals, got a free upgrade to business class on the way home and EVERY meeting went my way. Perhaps it's time to be more serious about applying for a different job. When shits rolling, roll it.

Mine too, but that is because we went go karting last night and 55 minutes in a car wearing flip lops that keep climbing off my feet made me clench my toes the whole time. Whatever the fuck is the opposite of my ankle is KILLING ME.
