  7. we need to see the workshop bro!!! are you laying these out like eggs???
  8. As in a custom length not listed on the SSA Store? Yes, I am starting a build and I have an LC7i processor since I would like to keep the factory navigation unit. The processor is going to be located pretty close to the amps and 5' would be a lot of extra wire to try and hide and clean up. If not possible it is OK, I was look at these rca's a while back and liked them, it was going to be either these or Knu rca's.Ever think about making your own??? Or employing Eric to make em for you??
  9. That's hot man
  10. Beautiful setups!!!
  11. I was uneducated when I picked the alt and never asked but after purchasing and digging I realized that was the issue.. Circumstances at the tune did not allow me the luxury of sending the unit back and paying the mechanic to do the work and send it back. It was very frustrating
  12. I do like your choices in batteries, I went with the diehard platinum/marine front AND rear with a Mechman 270a.. Issue output is trash and I wish they would've advertised it. They claim half the output at idle but there version of the is between 799-850rpm on the dash .. Might have someone adjust the pulley on it at some point. I saw no issues when running my bc3500 at 2ohms and my mbq 150.4
  13. Yes 2 ohm load is less stressful on the amplifier AND the cars electrical. Now the only way to know if it's sufficient is with testing. You shouldn't have issues but dial gains back if necessary
  14. Nice buy! I just picked up a mikro iv from Sean.. Got the horns to install and my midbass action.
  15. Good guy and great looking product!!! Got my mikro iv yesterday and shyt it's small.. I want a hundred of these now
  16. So true... And so disappointing when it happens... Lmao!!!
  17. ^^^ you both raise a very good and honest point... BUT there isn't an end all reasoning for doing what you do... Some just want clarity over output, some just want loud AND clear... They aren't the same thing and you can't judge them and tell them what is right... If they want your opinion then that is all it will ever be... We're all in this for the enjoyment and we always strive for better with our own perception
  18. Im far behind with equipment and stereo... Wish I was able to test/run a 12" proto of anything. Lol!
  19. Honestly you can blow equipment on very little power.. Install and settings can/will affect how a speaker reacts to the power applied, top that with the fact that all music is dynamic... AND you're fckd!!! Lol...
  20. His original thread, he did test it. Just lowered a bit
  21. No. To answer your question. You CAN setup it up in any configuration, endless possibilities and that is what makes it a big project to tackle.
  22. Get rid of... Best time to upgrade is when something breaks... Look at zed?
