A lot of amplifiers have pre-out connections as well. Basically they "repeat" the signal for you to be relayed to another amplifier.

Yes very true... OP, are you looking to save money, or space, or both??? Using the rear channels of a 4 channel amplifier is not a bad idea but going ported is for that particular setup...

You need a SSF .... you will damage your speaker fairly quickly if you don't.. Without the filter you will end up playing notes lower than your tuning and that will damage the Dcon..

I'd follow the Hlcd route if you want you bass to chase your front stage. LOL... Def with the right processing setup that would probably sound amazing.

It shouldn't be too noticeable especially with the fact they will both be put in a totally different enclosure. Should be undetectable.

they charge in the car when you drive? I think that is maintenance for a car that isn't drive often, like a show car... not a daily driver... I could be wrong
