Afaik SDS tiles should be fine.. I have some installed on a buddy's firewall and no issues so far.. I was more worried about the cold causing the stickiness to loosen up since we have had such a shitty winter.. but so far its good... This was on a Miata.. EDIT: I would also assume that MLV might do a great job deadening the firewall from the inside... Use industrial velcro to hold it up...

No comment on the setup for the subwoofers yet... But dayum that ride is nice and clean dude! I have looked into 4th order but size is what made me steer from it. I cannot give up trunk permanently...

Both sets are under 150w and look to be pretty nice... The Polks have higher sensitivity which is good for getting loud and not struggling... Phoenix Gold RDs65cs Polk Audio DB6501

I guess I just know I won't get butt raped at Best Buy so I don't do the CL thing...
Get some open box Denon from Best Buy and call it a day... Picked up a decent AVR-1709 for about $140 I believe... The output board went on me but Best Buy replaced the receiver.. So all is well...
But the components crossover just divides the signal, below 3500 to woofer and above 3500 to tweeter. I dont think the components crossover has a high pass filter built in it. I dont think you wanna send a 40hz signal and risk blowing it I think I meant high pass... I was drinking and whatnot... lol...
