If you really want to go that low and loud ... dual 12's would work well sealed... but I know you said single sub... I think tuning to 30hz would be low enough to reach your goal and bigger port usually narrows your bandwidth if I've read correctly.. so going smaller on port might help you get to that lower frequency.

design relates to product/subwoofers used .... you can get lucky or have decent output/sound quality using a random design for any sub but I wouldn't spend $300+ on anything and just go random on setup... but that's just me

Keep what you have. You won't achieve much difference in overall output with the same box, power and come area. BL has more motor force but I dont see it changing much. Plus the airspace needed for either Q or BL is more than the SSD. Im almost positive

The Audisons are what we've had the most success with. The Helix P-DSP sounds great, but people come in specifically looking for it so I was just trying to see if there really is a buzz out there about bitOnes and bitTens. I wonder if he meant sounds great as in a good product or sounds good to the ear ...lol I mean they sound like a good product and a lot of people like using them, lol. It just seems like the Audisons are very popular. I figured.... I don't know, I see alot more hype for the 360s on the forums or MS8's really
