  1. lmao! What?!?!?!?!
  2. welcome sir!!!
  3. no problem... so far you now know... turn that SSF all the way up... and leave the BASS EQ at 0 ..... gain can be set going from all the left and turning it up slowly when listening to the system loud.... shouldn't be more than 1/4 - 1/3 turn
  4. where was your ssf set at with that setup? Maybe you went too far below tuning with that much power and BAM! it's over..... check you settings for sure OP...

nice to see you back in the game man! looking good!! !
  6. Yeahh.... so I'm kinda too lazy, and focused too much on having fun rather than making a perfect photo, for post-processing. I only play with saturation, contrast, sharpness, color tone, and white balance settings on the camera before I take a picture. My camera lets me have 9 user set combinations + a white balance setting. For most of the time I only use 3 of the settings. I'm sure if I took it more seriously and worked at it I could turn out better shots and more consistently good shots; but for right now it's just a fun side hobby and something that gives me an excuse to get off my ass. And thanks for the kind words! I really like that shot too! Time to get a new camera I guess.... My camera does not allow that.... smh
  7. dude what are you doing post-processing wise???? the colors looks too fucking fantastic.... I feel I don't got that... lol
  8. insane in the membrane Drew!!!!
  9. Happy Birsday!!!
  10. evils???? lol
  11. good stuff... have a build log yet? if not start to it
  12. Curious, you ask the same question on es um dee?lol
  13. you don't need anything external... all the controls/settings are in the HU.... you can most likely do some of it with the remote it comes with though
  14. nothing... just a basic 4 channel amp....

God Bless chop! I'll see if my parents can have her prayed for at their church
  16. Depending on the model/vehicle it could very well be true... currently I have an issue of compatability with my 270a Mechman and my '03 Camry ... doesn't put out any real amperage at idle ... I have to give it gas to get to 800rpm to get it to "turn-on" ... my voltage goes to 11.8v at idle if I let it.... they have already stated I can send it in and they will give me the newer model which I believe is a 240a model that will turn on at low rpms.... issues are I've already had this unit installed twice, incorrect model sent first time.... then correct sent after... so it's cost me another $130 just to get the right model I ordered... and now I'll have to pay a mechanic to swap them again plus shipping... that's another $130 again.... the alternator already cost me $450 I believe when I ordered it.... sooo I'm a bit annoyed about that.... if I don't swap it I'll be wasting gas to keep idle at about 1000rpm which obviously uses more gas.... smh
  17. Are these them? Random question about mounting .... is it okay if your screw goes through the wood ? For example.... double baffle of 3/4" MDF .... and you use a 2" wood screw, does that lessen the tightness of the mount? As long as you don't strip the screw while tightening it down. So like even if it was 3" screws on a 1.5" baffle it wouldn't matter as long as I don't A) over tighten B) don't strip screw .... would I still be better off pre-drilling if I used a self-drilling screw?

  19. from the photos on SQ's website the controls looks similar for the x-over but I could be wrong... but like I said your HU will be more than enough to control the sound ***BTW... I'm off to bed ...lol... Need to wake up at 5... I'll re-visit later on... :-)
  20. with that HU don't worry about x-overs on the amp
  21. With the Sundown amp, it is very efficient and you have more crossover control. I think it's a good investment to get the most from your drivers. could be wrong but x-over looks similar on the sq amp..... Focal not so much but they are "solid" amps
  22. OP do you have a budget?? trying to stay under $300 maybe??? Let us know cuz that Sundown is $500 lol..... great amp from the reviews and whatnot but expensive
  23. you need to figure out install locations.... as well as how much "work" you're willing to do (modifications) to areas to make drivers fit..... I'm still tackling my active setup.... I went with ease and just used stock door for my "mids" .... my tweeters are installed ghetto like now but provide nice sound..... little pods velcroed to the dash for now aimed at the review mirror ..... but you'll also either need to look into active capable HU .... or external processor....
