i am glad that we have people to defend our freedom, but they are usually douchebags. No offense meant to jordan, and anyone else that may serve here, as he is an exception, but 90% of the soldiers i meet i just end up making fun of. The one i always love to pull is that he can be as buff as he wants, he can be trained in all kinds of stupid shit that he'll never use, but when he gets shipped over seas it's me that his gf will be calling, not him.

yea all the estimates for shipping the bike were way more than i expected, last time i looked at shipping rates it was only costing me about $400 to have a bike shipped.

no shit, make a trip out to VA with it and i'll definitely pick it up, actually if you'd be willing to work with shipping i still might be interested.

a house is second on my to-buy list as soon as i get income, always has been. like it or not you'll never have anything if you don't have your house.

do not drop the SAE line to 1/2 ohm, if you want to run at 1/2 ohm go with the 1500d instead. don't kill your warranty and risk blowing your amp AND sub. do it the right way.

personally i'd go with a 12 if you're concerned with being louder, but i'd just buy a 12" with D2 coils isntead of having all that work done to yours. plus you'd have an extra sub if you go with a new one.

stratusfaction has a huge chip in the windshield. was following my uncle when he had his airstream, we pulled off the road to check everything at the beginning of the trip and as we pulled back on to the road a rock about the size of a baseball comes off the tire and bounces about two times before hitting the windshield. i have no idea how it didn't shatter the bitch.
  14. damn near as long to get it out of your nose too. and ears, and god forbid you should be sweating when you cut it.
  15. very sexy drivers hope they sound as good as they look
  16. bang/buck always goes to DIY in my opinion. what head unit are you running?

  18. btw the 5ch memphis belle is 74Wx4 and 1100W@1ohm but i think it wouldn't fit your needs.
  19. the BLs should handle quite a bit more power than the SSDs. how much power over advertised will depend on your install.
  20. why would you want something more flexible? by that reasoning wouldn't it be better to use veneer?
  21. i want to give you a little help here more subs does not mean more loud. bigger subs does not mean bigger sound. subs in their PROPER enclosure = best. if you put a bunch of subs in a box and starve them for air you'll be right back on here complaining about how brand XXXX sub sucks because it's not loud even though you have 203978542 of them in 6ft^3 of space.

lol i do half agree with them,
  23. i personally think yes, it's a total waste of money and last time i checked 4 mj18s are going to be nearly impossible to fit in a beetle without some serious cutting, why bother on your first car? try this....get a 12" sub, go with the us amps 2000d, get 1 component set and you'll be much happier. with 2 sets of legacy "mids and highs" and 6 tweeters your setup is going to sound like shit. with 4 mj18s you'll never get enough airspace to use them to their fullest and you won't be as happy as you could be.
  24. if you want to save weight go fiberglass and choose your sub wisely.
  25. and in most cases the weight difference is not enough for you to ever really notice in vehicle. It won't make your car faster, more gas efficient, etc. Of course lifting the box will be much easier.
