just got back from an awesome time. went to an off-the-beaten-path kind of place and did some sledding. just down the hill, it was meh. then the roomie got his truck and pulled us behind, me and him were the only two out of the bunch of us that would even stay on, then we got an extra rope and we both rode at the same time, 35mph is fast as hell on a little plastic disk.

skipped my only class this morning, we got a bit of snow so i figured the prof wouldn't care. plus it's a 930 class. just checked my e-mail to find out it was canceled anyway. w00t

which model alpine do you have? note we're talking 3way+sub, not 2way+sub (like most units that can run active)

honestly it doesn't have very many "options" at all. When ///m5 says running active, he means 3-way frontstage+sub. The drz will do that without an external processor. It has fantastic time alignment and te only thing that really suffers IMO is the eq which iirc is only graphic and no parametric. it's not the end-all be-all but if you want to run 3-way active+sub as far as i know it's only this or the ural CDD for an all-in-one unit. edit: i also find this much sexier than the CDD, or the p9 combo, or any of the alpine 701 combo options (even though i do love the 9861)

"I requested a total three times,seller filed dispute before sending me any total" I left the same for both items, which is why he needed to send me a total instead of me just assuming. He left negative feedback for me with the following... "SHIPPING STATED IN AUCTION SENT 3EMAILSW/TOTAL TOOK DISPUTE TO GET LOWLIFE 2 PAY"..."$106.83 TOTAL! TOOK DISPUTE TO GET PAYMENT,GUESS HE NEED 2ND MORTGAGE ON TRAILER" I think i struck a bit of a nerve with the neg feedback. Had to reply and clear up that he didn't send me a total, and it wasn't in the auction. On the one about my 2nd mortgage i simply replied with how mature it was and how it shows how professional he is. then he sent requests for mutual feedback withdrawal, heh, not a chance.

also bought a tool set yesterday, 125pc craftsman for $70 had a 3/8 and 1/4 wrench (what i went in to buy) plus an array of 6 and 12pt sockets and a few deepwells in both 1/4 and 3/8

bought an espresso machine from wally world, fresh easy to obtain espresso in the mornings rocks

you know how you can hear rain hitting your roof? think of that but on the horns. i mean you spend all that money for some super efficiency where you are eliminating all sound, i'm sure even with insulation you could still hear the rain through it.

but with the horns on the outside of the house....wouldn't you get noise if it was raining?

anyone know what the proper name for the heaters that look like a torpedo and run off kerosene is? we call them lizards and ours tore up today so i need to find a new one but don't even know what to search for
