Welcome to the IHoP
stratusfaction is getting a little sick, starting to hear a grinding and popping coming from the front end. I pray it's axles and not transmission. The tranny still shifts beautifully so i doubt it's that. Of course i do still have the squealing idler pulley i have to fix. And if it does happen to be the tranny, she's getting a swap to a 5spd.

oh yea...forgot to mention some kick ass news...Allessandro Toso is back in bburg. Before this news i had planned on stopping beer. Now i'm going to have to exercise twice as much to burn off all the beer we'll be drinking.

New SUV Build Up
so you want to run 3 sets of components up front and one of those sets will be 5.25s or 4.5s? I think it's a bad idea

Fi SSD 12" or 15"
15, no copper coil though.

ssd amp
x3, it'll leave you wanting more and with those amps you'll take a bigger loss selling used. Of course you could always find a used amp.

Welcome to the IHoP
I'm sure 90% of what I will be doing is checking over people's planned courses, making sure they have prerequisites before they take the class, bla bla bla because that is the largest assignment of the year.

RCB054
this is just a quick update and i will be copy/pasting this into my feedback thread. He's communicated with me a few times. On the 19th he said he would ship "tomorrow"(20th). On the 23rd he said the package had already shipped and was supposed to be here on the 27th. And today he sent an e-mail with a tracking number saying it shipped today and will be here on the 28th. The weight is 42lbs so I suppose I'll wait and see. I do want to add a big thanks to everyone that has helped me, especially Mike P. I do fully believe I wouldn't have gotten this far without him.

need some tweeters
those tiny tweets that come with component sets usually don't handle much power. You're looking for something to get loud...obviously...or you wouldn't be running a crapton of them. if you think you can control your gains do something like these..they're cheap and should work http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...tnumber=275-030 if you're going to ...well you should probably just get something like this http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...tnumber=275-030 but then again we all know that regardless of what good advice anyone gives you, you've already made up your mind and will stick to your wrong decision.

very dumb noob comparison, but i am new
i had my 12" Q in 1.7 sealed and 2.5@28hz ported. The ported is MUCH louder but it sounded a lot better in the sealed enclosure. The bottom is just seems kind of bloated and not as tight as in the sealed. But i'm sure 95% of people would never notice and would probably even prefer the way it sounds ported.

Welcome to the IHoP
my intro biol class is no longer my intro biol class. Professor(my advisor) is giving me an A for the class, i never even have to show up again, but i asked him if i could stick around and help with anything so i am now going to be added as a TA. Kinda ghey but that = letter of recommendation.

Stock 601-1800
if you're limited to 1800W then i wouldn't go with a BTL. I'd talk to scott but i'd say two 12" SSD's or Q's would be louder. i should add i'm guessing two 12s over one 18 because of power compression, the 18 would have the greater surface area though...err i think it would at least, i'm not bothering with the math

He finally contacted me last night and today. He claims he's shipping the subwoofer now. But like I told him at this point I'm not going to believe a word he says. If I don't have a tracking number on Monday I'm going to call his local police.

Fix a/c lines to work with fiero hookup. Water hoses from 4cyl fiero install 3.4" pulley Install new Belts Figure out heater hoses!!! Mount fuel pump resistor thingy on underside of body. Axles Install new tie rod ends and ball joints. Overhaul rear calipers and install new brake pads Full suspension poly ($100) Cradle poly mounts($50) --if i don't get the aluminum ones i ordered (%^&*) Get computer reprogrammed ($125) clean gas tank Mount coil pack on firewall fill in holes on trunk (no more spoiler) Buy quarter window replacements when available (~$250) Buy headlight buckets and headlights(~$300) Buy air/fuel gauge Buy new brake pads...heh Buy emergency brake cable Possibly buy walbro 255 Maybe Fix water neck from 2.8 to fit on 3800.
