System Plans
Aiming of the sub is very subjective. I suggest trying it both ways. I've tried a lot of different positions in my trunk and honestly both up and to the rear sound very close to me with up having more rattles appear. This will definitely depend on your vehicle though. If you're going with 1 sub you want dual 2 so you can parallel them down to 1ohm. read up on ohms law if you want to understand this better. Since the 1500d is a one channel amplifier (monoblock) you won't have to bridge it. It has two sets of speaker outputs but they are completely identical and tied together inside the amp. (ie you only have to use one, the other is just to make hooking up two subs to one amp easier)

Tweeter Positioning
the short answer is.....no the long answer is yes, but in the end you should easily be able to tune to compensate or it'll never be noticeable anyway.

actually KU, it's not uncommon at all. parasites are kind of known for doing the whole mind control thing. a few i can think of(not names, but hosts) are ants, snails, and there was one for some crustaceans but i don't remember which.

H/O alternators
I'm guessing you didn't spell probably right. You also missed thinks=things, loses, losed, loose, but i never called you an idiot??? btw my post was both to you and to the OP, the whole point of the thread is about hp from the alt. With his car he shouldn't be worrying about it at all if he's adding all the other crap to the car.
-
H/O alternators
not being mean man but if you can't tell much of a difference with that much stuff in your car then you don't pay very much attention to how your car performs. I can notice a difference with my 5' tall gf in the passenger seat of my car. The point is if you're going to add all this stuff to your car there's no point in caring about how much hp you're going to lose on the alternator, it won't be nearly as much as you lose from the rest of the stuff, and it won't affect your handling at all.

Welcome to the IHoP
and last rant, i almost followed a bitch today just to kick her ass first... we're in two lines of traffic, at an intersection (T where we meet a road and have to turn left or right) Well she's in the left lane, i'm passing the traffic in the right as the left lane is backed up like crazy. Well i get to the end and almost hit this bitch because she turns RIGHT, from the LEFT TURN LANE. she gives me a dirty look and then passes me while fiddling with her kid who is in the back seat in a car seat. I can't make shit up this good.... well her lane of traffic stops ahead so she decides to signal as she changes lanes (not before) but i don't slow down for her assuming that she's not going to change lanes in an intersection, bitch almost hits me again and i can see her in my rear view giving hand motions. what the fuck is wrong with people???? changing lanes in an intersection and expecting the person in his lane to move for you, and left turning from a right lane all while you have your kid in the back seat.

Welcome to the IHoP
went to a shitty ass dealer today to get stuff fixed on the crossfire under warranty. first, minji worked her magic and got the headlights replaced for free because of the fog on the inside, heh. I had to have her take it in two weeks ago because i had class. Well it had a leak on the valve cover (on a cover above the regular cover), they replaced a transmission line. It took them 3.5 hours to replace this line and the headlights. While we were waiting...yea i made the mistake of thinking it'd be about 1-1.5 hrs since there wasn't a line...i hear the dealer pitching an air filter to another girl. Explains that she needs one, she says she can probably get it cheaper than their $38+install and he explains that the ones she buys will be of inferior quality and will make the throttle body get dirtier quicker and then they'll have to clean that. i wanted to run

i do not need another amplifer i am NOT going to buy another amplifier ......unless my stocks keep going up, then it's basically free, right?

new to the team
it wouldn't be any louder if it had 5 1/0 inputs.

H/O alternators
You're adding a sundown 3000d so i'm guessing some massive subs as well. You're looking at around 200lbs of added weight at least(not counting batteries) and you're worried about losing hp from the alternator? Just do some mods to offset the weight/hp loss or go with a lower power/lighter setup.

Welcome to the IHoP
i desperately need mdf baffles so i can put decent speakers in the crossfire, it's getting to where i don't even turn the radio on now.
