In order to run 1500wrms to a 12" BL I need to do all the upgrades rights?

It couldn't hurt. The one my brother has was pre-bp option, and it still handles it w/o a problem at all. The setup can play a part in it, but I'd just get the options to be safe.

Well I just found out that the Massive p3000.1 only puts out about 2700 watts..but its still going to be loud and also I plan on running them in a 4.8cu box tued to 35hz..(2 12" bl's)

Should make for a solid setup. With 1350 a sub I would at least do the PC... and the flatwind if you have a little extra $$$. Full loading the sub wont be necessary for the power, but it seems most do anyway.

My BL has no options, my amp does 1200 rms at 1 ohm 12.5 volts, so I figure its at least getting 1400 watts with the car running, I have got the dust cap warm once, but that was with tones.

With music, it takes everything my amp can dish!
