what i mean is LSQ. say i had 1000w to each IDMAX and RMS on the RE XXX i'm not sure what rms is on it. which would have better LSQ?

are you asking which will get louder? or which is more accurate at reproducing music as it was intended?

i think the IDMAXs would win in every aspect. what a coincidence, i have a pair for sale!

seriously tho, not sure. 1 12 vs 2 12s seems like the pair would win, but thats not always the case. you are comparing 2 very capable subs against an extremely capable sub

are you refering to the new XXX or the old XXX?

the new XXX, both in ported enclosures, maxed out in RMS. which would get louder? and which would be better at reproducing low notes? thanks for the help guys.

if it means anything having heard neither driver, i'd actually own an idmax, i have no desire whatsoever to own the new XXX

I have not heard the new XXX, don't feel it warrants the price, where as I know the IDMAX is a very soild performer and has a great track record with good SQ and output.

Install dependent...though if you're out to make loud farting noises there are other woofers I'd consider first...
