2x1500 vs. 3000

so i got this 1500d and i have someone who wants to buy it this weekend, what im trying to decide is will the 3000d at 1 ohm be better on my electrical system than 2 1500s strapped @ 2 ohms. its either sell this 1500 and get a 3000, or get another 1500 and strap. if anyone has ran both and could let me know their opinions i'd appreciate it.

i guess i'll shoot for the 3kw since it's alot more simple to install.

One 3000D will draw slightly less current as it will do slightly less power. For all practical purposes it would be almost the same :) Of course, one 3000D is smaller and simpler as has been mentioned.
