strapped VS not strapped ??

has anyone tested this. is one louder then the other? and this can happen! my cyclop's were .2 louder when they were not strapped

Really depends... in general the strapped pair will be slightly less efficient but in some instances, and I don't know exactly why, people are slightly louder when the amps are strapped. *Usually* un-strapped is louder but requires careful gain matching.

Yes, I have expirenced amps that are unstrapped are louder than strapped. I it has to do with the amps efficiency. Goliaths, louder strapped. Stetsoms louder unstrapped. Sundown amps same either way!?!?!
