If you put 2 12's in the same box same power which would sound better? I know its going to be kinda biased but i am debating between these two subs.

The SX's are built to be loud daily pounder subs. The ICON was meant to be an SQ sub first.

It would probably depend what the "same box" was, but they are two subs with different purposes.

I've never been impressed with the SX's I've heard. Too sloppy.

so if i wanted something for good daily puonding but no sq I should go with the sx, but if i want a little bit of pound i should go with the ssd icon.

I wouldn't say a little bit of pound. The ICON can play some serious low notes.

As you can see in this short video, it flexs my winsheild..that video doesn't do it much justice either.

basically the only way for you to truley believe is to hear them in person. You truley can't go wrong with them.
