Hello all :)

A very good day today :D despite not hitting the 150dB @ 20Hz

Here`s a few photos of my car again.

Look!! I actually managed to win a U.K. Finals (I remembered to turn my amps on  ) Extreme 3-4 catagory

My scores:

152.3dB @ 33Hz :D :earmuffs:

149.0dB @ 20Hz :D :earmuffs: (Apparently the dB score drops on grass) Huge drop though

But I`m very happy with my scores considering I`m running on half power :D

One thing I have to say is that I will not be competing in Bass Race anymore because I have no chance of getting anywhere.

WHY???

Because there are no tunes (that I know off) that peak @ 33Hz for long periods of time :(

But I`m happy trying to hit higher @ low frequencies :D

Great scores! Sorry to hear the meter didn't read as well on grass - I never would have thought that make a big difference....well, every little thing makes a difference. I know a guy who put a piece of aluminum tape over a headliner hole and gained 0.5 dB. Weird.

Your install is easily the best looking 150+ dB install I've ever seen... much less @ 33 hz! My truck can almost do 160 @ 48 Hz (with the seat out) -- 158.8 with the seat in -- but does about the same as your car @ 33 Hz. And it certainly doesn't look pretty *laughs*

And wow... 149 @ 20 Hz... I don't think mine will even get close. I bet the car goes crazy playing that.

Very impressive! If I ever make it over to the UK I've got to sit in it :)

As for bassrace, you may have to get an Epicenter and "add" bass to do bassrace... or you can try some "Young Jeezy" -- it hits in the 30s quite a bit.

Sorry I couldn`t resist.

Someone took a very nice photo of my wall.

I need a new camera, I think.

My main aim is to hit 150dB + 20Hz.

I`ve no doubts this system will do it. Especially when they get at least 1500wrms to 2000wrms each...

And if you think these subs can`t handle power?...

My last system was rated at 6000wrms @ 1ohm (2x Powerbass XA-3000D) and I was running the amps down to 0.5ohm for daily listening. Played for hours - even clipped the subs for a bit & they still keep on taking all I can throw at them.

As for how this system sounds?

Here`s a few comments.

"Listening to your system has made me want to try lower tuning"

"I`ve never heard a system play low bass so effortlessly"

These comments are from two of the U.K.s Loudest most respected Streetbassers.

Oh.

I`m officially launching my ((((Propper Droppers)))) SPL testing format in the U.K. this coming weekend.

I`ll be running two seperate events.

One on Sat & One on Sunday.

I haven`t even tested my own system using my own format yet. L.O.L.

Anyway I`ll post up the results on Monday ;)
