Hey everyone. I am new to not only this forum but to FI as well. I have always had "eh" subs that are sold in my area. I currently have 2 10" RF T1's in a 3 cu ft enclosure....I am lookin to upgrade to something louder and better and am not sure of which sub to go with. I listen to 75% heavy rap, 10% techno, and 15% heavy metal. I like SPL mostly, but want to retain some SQ. Are the Q's or BL's a better replacment for what I have?

How much power and how much room do you have to work with?

I am lookin at about 3 cubes total in order to save room in my trunk for storage and weight reasons as well (sports car). THat is why I was still kind of lookin at the 10's ported. Power wise, I am open as can be. I have several amps that are almost brand new. I can throw anywhere from 1k watts to 3k watts at them. So, I am probably looking at 1k watts on each sub. Of course, I am gonna do power upgrades first and foremost.

I think a BL will suit your style if you have 1000+ watts on hand.

Yeah, sounds like the BL 10s are your choice.
