i'm looking in to get getting 4 fi ssd 12's. i was wondering how much power i should put to them? is 4000 watts good enough?

If he had flatwind with the Bp power option it should take that power no problems..

I'm not a fan of either of those options, personally...

right now i have a soundstream pca 2000d. i was thinking that if each sub rms @ 800 watts a piece then i could put 1000 watts to each sub and it would be ok. sholud i get the options or not.

I would only get the options if you plan on upgrading your amp to something putting out over 3000 watts. With that amp though you wont be giving them 1k each- more like 500 each, so you would not need options. They are nice to have when upgrading though, but for now wouldn't help anything.
