Which one would be better hooked up to a kole audio kx 1440 amp. and would probably be in a 1.0 ported enclosure tuned to about 33hz It will be in a Chevy regular cab s10

I don't know much about that amp to really help much. But I feel the SSD would be more abuse tolerant than the W3 with out knowing the true output, not to mention the SSD is a great daily sub that has a good price/performance ratio.

that amp is 720 rms in mono. SSD, the w3 won't even take that much power, you'd need two w3's to take that power. why not a 12" SSD? if you listen to more hip/hop and rap i would highly recommend it to hit some more lows.

Second the 12" $10 more and a fair amount more output for little extra space.
