Ok the project is to remian stealth but get loud!

These trucks suck for under the seat room so the best bet is to go the the console with the enclosure....so i did......It is fairly easy to get 1.5 cubes and still remain at a resonable height and does remian comfortable.

I did not take alot of early pics....I had bateries charging and could not slow down so I started taking picks about half way through......sorry. :(

objective:

Keep stock arm covers

keep stock top arm/storage area.

Woofer being used is a Fi 12" SSD

the rest of the system is still uninstalled...I dont have the time to run wires and install the HU so a local shop willl cover this fun activity.

So I drew out a working sketch....made my cut sheet, made the cuts and started peicing together......and that gets us here.

I already told him that he needs to vacuum and that his dirty truck makes my console look dirty.

what was the center console like before?

GREAT!!! Do you like having the bass up-front in the console? Having the sub in that location can really open up some headroom for you. I really like how you took the time to make everything blend with the interior.

It is not my truck i have done several consoles for locals and a few in other states......the ones i have heard local sound great and if I could in my car would love to have upfront bass like that....IMHO makes things blend a little better.

A couple I did a few weeks ago for Silverados...the Black on is comfortaBLE YET STILL ABLE TO HOUSE An ID max with ease.

Very nice, its apperent a lot of time and effort went into design these, they look so stock and functionally but sound so good. Great job! B)

Great work. I love seeing the Ford/Chevy comparison too. The stupid armrest on the Chevy isn't as nice as your box. :)

....Thanks guys I have another chevy console coming up this next week so i will get picks of it as well.

it should look somewhat similiar to the tan one....I just love the idea of utalizing unused space and keepin it stealth.....who would thing to steal the center console?

Any chance you would be willing to shoot a rough copy of the box plans for the F-150? Also, is there any way to make the top piece of the console level?

Great job BTW! I haven't seen one done this way yet.

The top can be made level if you ...

A) the rear has to have 2.75" of clearence in order to flip up......so you can raise the front up 2.75" as well....making it uncomfortable.

B) You can just level the top on top of the enclosure......but then it will not flip up.

BTW. You should sell those on FSC.

Not sure what FSC is but of you want to link this thread there that would be great.

I am willing to do these for others...I have 2 going out of state in the next couple of weeks but due to weight shipping can be pricey and out of my controll as far as cost.

I would actually like to get some threads on Chevy,Dodge, and Ford truck forums.

Awesome. Thanks for the reply. I think I am going to go snag a router and a sheet of 3/4 to experiment with. :)

Very nice work.

Hey, great job. I'm sure a lot of work went into designing that. Is wrapping a box with vinyl and harder than with carpet? Haven't seen any vinyl tutorials..

Vinyl is harder than carpet hands down.....carpet can hide its own seems and with vinyl that does not work.....plus heat and a slow wrap has to be used to make a finished product look good. Good vinyl is also important.

and to continue......

Next step .....vinyl....

Can you tell me how you attached that top panel the were able to push it down and keep it in place without the use of fasteners from the outside? Thanks so very Much. Z
