i've been reading about the whole tinsel slap thing and it's kind of scaring me...

i got a single 15 hybrid transmission line built by stratusrt01 a few months ago, he okay'd to me that sub a btl would work fine in there, are their any plans in the future for any upgrades to the tinsel leads? i was thinking of getting a fully loaded 15, the car is 2002 caddy deville, the box is stout as fudge, resin on the seams, i'ma 250 pound dude and i jump on it all the time, and it's rock solid.

i dont do music for the numbers, i just a daily beater, just trying to get some feedback from the people with experiance. Thanks in advance fellas.

I just bought 15" BTLs. . . Already have at least 10 hours of beating on them. I have yet to hear any lead slap. Matter of fact, all I can hear now is something ringing in the distance. . .

I use BTLs and have heard no slap at all. They simply sound great, and take a beating. Good luck.
