hey guys i am going to order a 15" Icon but im not sure what voice coil i should get to get a 2 ohm load on my amp. also when i make my box would it be better if i put the sub on the left side and the port on the other, or should i put the sub in the middle and the port on the side? oh it will be a 3.8 cu box what should i port it too?

For your 2 ohm amp, as Tom explained above, the Dual 1 ohm ICON the one you are looking for. (model ICON15D1) As for tuning, I personally don't like to suggest anything above 34hz for daily. So if you want a nice mix of output with out losing the bottom end, shoot for between 29 & 34hz.

im ok on the dual 1 ohm coils but i have a 97 toyota camry with the fold down rear seats so in an optumal car or suv will it matter where thesub is placed in the box, or will some positions affect output or sq

As I don't have your car to test with, I cannot say for sure. There are a few different schools of thought. One is to fire the sub rearward to help with wave length distance, the other is to face forward for an at the listener point.

i have a 94 camry with rear seatsa fold down ability. trust me and aim it back. mike- also cruise with seats down when its possible sounds better overal
