need specs b/c im designing a box for my 2 10's and dont have them here at college.

so i need the depth of the sub and the cut out diameter.

and also i plan on porting them and tuning them to 28hz.

what is the recommended volume of the box for each sub at that frequency?

i know it states 1.00 - 1.25 ft^3 @ 30 - 35 Hz Ported on the 10". but what is the optimal for this situation?

thanks

what cross sectional port area is recommended for these subs?

thanks got the mounting depth out of the way

thanks

now just to see if anybody can answer the cross section port area question

1) Yes, you can tune them to 28 Hz -- use the larger end of the spectrum at 1.25 ft^3 each. That gives a very good response.

2) Use 25 - 30 in^2 of area.

At 25 in^2 that is 30" long, at 30 in^2 that is 36.5" long for your 28 Hz tuning.

thanks man! just saved me alot of time

how much air does the speaker displace?

alrighty trying to figure all the specs out.

sort of difficulst with my design didnt have enough room with just the striaght triangle and a port.

so now it has be come sort of a trapazoid with a port makes calcultions sort of hard.

and also if my port has a smaller cross sectional area, it will not have to be as deep correct?

so how long would my port have to be if the cross section would be 20.25 in^2

and the volume that i have the sub gettin right now is a lil over 1 cube. and if i have a shorter port i will be able to give the sub more volume.

also maybe a cross section area of 13.5 in^2
