What RCA voltage are you putting into the amp?

Try it again without the pre-amp driver.

OK....just came back from trying a couple of things.

First i conected the amp directly to the HU...i went into protection...

then i connected my phone to the preamp...and it went into protection...

then got another set of rcas and connected them into the preamp and the HU into the preamp too...guess what played a bit and then went into protection...

then i took my cellphone and connected it to the amp and it played fine even though it was not that loud...

Okay. Replace the RCA cable completely and try it direct from the HU. Let me know how that works out.

If that does not work out I am going for HU problem.

yup went into protection when i did that so it should be the HU...itsweird cuz it plays fine sometimes and sometimes it goes into protection

well finally got a new HU and that definitely was the problem...now it does not go into protection and it plays louder :D

Hey sundownz, you say that the Saz-1500d protects the RCA line too, what kind of protection is that called? Is that Overload protection?

thnx...this kenwood is really nice has lots of features and sounds nice and it has 4v preouts so lets see if i gain something on the tl since i was using an ipod lol
