I'm thinking about buying a 15" Bl. Ill put it in the recommended ported box and give it 1500 watts rms. How are these subs in general. How loud do they get and how do they sound. I listen to mostly rap and some rock and if there are any other drivers that are just as good or better for the same price then I am still looking for more suggestions. Thank you,

They are nice subs for the price and they offer several options to customize your own sub to your liking.

I wouldn't hesitate to use the BL's, but also try looking into maybe pierceaudioproducts.com , and look at the WMD's(Woofers of Mass Destruction). They have a nice price and they sound freakin awesome. My good friend has 2 15" WMD's on a Massive Audio 3000.1 in an 8 cubic foot box, and it slams to gods end.

It's pretty hard to tell you how loud its going to be. You'll have to install it and get it metered. Everyone's setup is different.

Over all though, since you like Rap, I assume you like deep, low bass that kicks you right in the ass.. The BL should be exactly what you're looking for.

i use BL 15's i live them alot. i cant even compare it, caus i have yet to hear 2 15's drop like mine in person.

but its hard to tell you as johne said, it all depends on box, who installs it, the car or van suv what ever its in. also the amp has alot to do with it, and last bot not least your electrial backbone.

buy a bl 15 and give it true power.

dont starve this sub. if you do you wont be happy.

with 1500 watts going to it it does not seem to break a sweat. i used to run jl thay would move 2 or 3 inches to make bass. and the Fi seems to bearly MOVE. but makes so much more noise.

the bl puts out alot of output but if you want that true kick in the ass and have the right power for it id suggest a btl

but if you chose the BTL know that you have to bring the power awell, and you will lose some SQ but if your a asshead it will be worth it
