ok so my brother wants to get a fully loaded 18" BL for his 00' blazer. hes got a stock alternator i think 105 amps, and hes thinking of getting a hc1800 battery in the back with a hifonics xxv or xx thor amp. will his electrical be okay for this?

it should... i would get a new cell for up front aswell... and maybe two in the rear.

why hifonics.?.... i have had sad times with hifonics. i say stay away from the fonics

really two in the rear? two hc1800? thats bout 700 lol, i dont think he would need two, maybe hc2400 b/c its not like hes gonna be playing his music with the car off for a long time. he just doesnt want his alternator to die, and he doesnt want to get a H.O. alternator cus he thinks its gonna cost too much for a good one.

And well see i actually have my set up with a hifonics bxi1606d amp goin to a SSD 12", its been good to me. nothing has gone wrong yet and the price is hard to beat. and I read on here that the xx or xxv models are not over-rated like the lower models so yea, i told him about hifonics and that the thor was prolly the best for the money amp that hes gonna want to get.

i have a goliath. and i had nothing but problems.

i also have a saz 3000d. best amp i have ever owned.

and you dont get the batterys so you can run with the car off.... you use them because of the curret draw.
