alright, can i set my remote gain to where full remote gain is peak for me.

by setting the amp gain low, and having the remote gain hi will that mess the amp up or send a clipped signel

i know with the hifonics you can not use the remote gain as a volume knob for the amp, but the hifonics remote gain for the goliath is a input adjuster, so it raises and lower the input signel, i wanna make sure my sundown can dothe job or not

also jacob i got no sundown swag with my amp.... can i get a sticker or somthing:D and a flyer,

it's a gain control(or so i feel it is)

the way i set mine is i set the gain on the AMP to nothing or all the way down.

i set the remote to MAX.

i then began turning the gain on the AMP to the proper setting.

when the setting is acheived i begin turning down the remote untill i find where the remote begins to start lowering the audio. i find that my remote only goes up half way with the amp settings. anything after half way does nothing. i find it good to have the remote cause my dad takes my car out here and there and he knows how to tinker with my HU. so instead of him messing with the HU's settings he just turns down the remote all the way.

sweet.. thanks.. that was my question.

It is a remote gain.

Max on the remote = whatever your gain is set at. It does not go higher, it ONLY cuts down from there.
