How do you guys think this would sound? What size box and tuning freq do u guys think i'd need i listen to 95% rap and some rock. I love the deep lows and i'd say a 60/40 sp/sq split

i'd only have to ask why you settled on the Q? seems like you may be leaning towards more of a BL type set-up. But i'm not sure what your personal reasons were behind it.

terms of box size..what are the dimensions you have to play with? Otherwise id just stick with what Fi reccomends as their sizes for the sub

as for tuning....it may depend on the box size

but i'd say tuning around 30Hz should fit you good for some pretty sweet lows

I agree with this ^

Any reason you went with the Q over the BL? The BL tuned low enough will give you what you're looking for.

I agree, if output is more of a preference, go BL in this case.

i was told the q would provide me with what u was looking for, very glad i asked before i went ahead with my purchase. I'm sure the q would deff be awesome but from u guys responce the bl would provide better sound for what im looking for...

go for BL's if u want more output, what amp are you planning to use with ur setup?

Probably the one in the tread title :P
