ive got a 1500d on 4 12's.i just turned my gain up a tad bit and now its hittn hard but skippn my cd player when it hits a certain bass note.ive got to fix this probablem cause i do competitions and i cant be having that.ive got a alpine 9885.any sugestions as to what i can do.thanks guys.ive still got another amp to put in.thats why im worried

you gotta get that cd player secured.

IF it's screwed\bolted down properly then put some rubber washers around the mounting holes to see if that helps.

Does the cd player rest on anything other than the screws\bolts that hold it in?

You can line your CD cavity with closed cell foam. You should also consider Second Skin to deaden your entire car. This will ultimately help the problem.

my changer has yet to skip even playing @ mid 50's at 54 hrtz or playing any song i can get my hand's on with 2 9515's tuned to 35 hrtz with 2 3000's.

one more thing in usaci and dbdrag you can not use a ipod.not saying some people wont let you use it but it is in the rule's
