I know there are a ton of choices out there but wondering what everyone is using here. Right now RAAMat looks like the choice for me, followed by Fatmat or Edead. Feel free to post away.

Cool, thanks for the input. I have used the cheap regular thin edead a few years back and it was ok, but due to the excessive heat of Geaorgia in a trunk it peeled off. That was one of their very first batches though and have been told it has been corrected. So it might not be a go with Fatmat.

brown bread here...

i get a pretty good deal on it from a local guy..see radioactivity..hehe

easier to work with then original dynamat(haven't used any other dynamat) and i think it works better..

never had any troubles with it either...

cheaper then dynamat too..but then again, what isn't?

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

I forgot, anyone tried Second Skin advertised here on the forum?

Yep. The extreme shit with a foam sybstance on it isn';t worth a shit. melterd right off my trunk lid in NY...............in mid winter. I hate it. I am gonna use PeelnSeal on my new truck.

That's because it's not designed to work on trunk lids...

I've used over 400 sq ft of different Second Skin products in 3 different cars. The results have been great and I've never had a problem with it coming off...

Ant made it sound like it could. Okay then what is it for man?? And BTW the regular worked like a charm.

Are you talking about the Motor mat stuff? It says it is for under the hood on their site

Second skin rocks, I think they might be having a preorder on spectrum v2 (liquid sound deadening) for 42 bucks a gallon. I have some that I think I will be putting in this weekend.

I also have gone through 2 rolls of Damplifier and a lot of Black Bologna. It all works really good. I couldn't believe the spl increase I got by dampening the trunk lid and trunk.

Customer service is top notch also. Ant is a great guy and he will usually cut you a deal if you are buying a lot of stuff.

We might be thinking about different products, what exactly did you have? What I'm thinking of is only designed for floors/sides....I know he's got a few items now that have these limitations, and before he diversified his product line he had a few different ones that had them as well (specifically Dubtack.) Either way, if you asked him about it working on lids and it didn't, I'd demand compensation.
