Posted September 9, 200421 yr I know there are a ton of choices out there but wondering what everyone is using here. Right now RAAMat looks like the choice for me, followed by Fatmat or Edead. Feel free to post away.
September 9, 200421 yr Currently using eDead cuz it was so damn cheap. Used Fatmat and had a huge problem with their CS. Will never do that again.
September 9, 200421 yr Author Cool, thanks for the input. I have used the cheap regular thin edead a few years back and it was ok, but due to the excessive heat of Geaorgia in a trunk it peeled off. That was one of their very first batches though and have been told it has been corrected. So it might not be a go with Fatmat.
September 9, 200421 yr brown bread here...i get a pretty good deal on it from a local guy..see radioactivity..heheeasier to work with then original dynamat(haven't used any other dynamat) and i think it works better..never had any troubles with it either...cheaper then dynamat too..but then again, what isn't?wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

The results have been great and I've never had a problem with it coming off...

September 9, 200421 yr Are you talking about the Motor mat stuff? It says it is for under the hood on their site
September 10, 200421 yr Second skin rocks, I think they might be having a preorder on spectrum v2 (liquid sound deadening) for 42 bucks a gallon. I have some that I think I will be putting in this weekend. I also have gone through 2 rolls of Damplifier and a lot of Black Bologna. It all works really good. I couldn't believe the spl increase I got by dampening the trunk lid and trunk. Customer service is top notch also. Ant is a great guy and he will usually cut you a deal if you are buying a lot of stuff.

What I'm thinking of is only designed for floors/sides....I know he's got a few items now that have these limitations, and before he diversified his product line he had a few different ones that had them as well (specifically Dubtack.) Either way, if you asked him about it working on lids and it didn't, I'd demand compensation.
