Alright, I have 2 Fi X12's in a prefab ported box right now. they sound alright but not great. Either I put ~$200 into a box for them or I save up and buy a Q15 and a box(~$300+$200). my question: how much better will the Q sound than two 12X's? is it worth waiting to save up for the Q and the extra $300.

night and day difference in the 2 subs. IMO well worth the saving

Alright thanks. I'm starting to think it may be worth it to build a box for the X's and then save. however it will take longer for me to get the Q. regardless I'm going for that Q.

I responded on ecoustics, saying to build first, buy new subs second.
