Posted April 3, 200817 yr what do yall suggest in a very limited amount of space. i will be pushin 1k watts rms to each subplease respond
April 3, 200817 yr Author my goals are more spl. right now i have 2 12" cvx so i hope it bumps harder than that. my box space is pretty limited, im not sure exactly what size yet but im gettin it custom under my back seat
April 4, 200817 yr How about a little more info on your vehicle and current setup? You said 2 12" CVX's but haven't mentioned anything about box specs or power applied.
April 4, 200817 yr I was in the same situation. Didnt know whether to go with Icons or FI BL. I know there just about the same price unless you get upgrades on the BL. A fully loaded BL will probably cost an extra 50 bucks. Talkin to mark and knowing how easy it would be to get a hold of him if anything happened I went with the ICONS and love them!

April 4, 200817 yr Admin This is the 2nd or 3rd topic I have seen recently that is with these two drivers. Not sure how the Icon got compared to the BL instead of the Q. Anyway, to stay on topic, both drivers will handle the 1000 watts per just fine. Both can get loud in the right install. In all honesty, the BL is meant to soak up more power and have a higher peak level of output. The Icon, on the other hand, is meant to sound great is well done installs with decent power and a smooth response across the range.
April 4, 200817 yr Author the reason i went with the bl instead of the q is cuz on fi's site it said the bl is more of an spl sub which i am lookin for, plus its mounting depth is to deep for the box im plannin to put inand btw thanks guys. i appreciate takin your time to help me Edited April 4, 200817 yr by bsebll22
