Posted April 9, 200817 yr does anyone know about how many watts a 300d will put off at a .5 ohm. with high output alternator 3 good batts. and around 14.2 volts?thanks for the help guys.hope to get some good numbers!!!
April 10, 200817 yr Ypu should read the Sundown Forum stickies. Right above where you just posted.besides you wont be at 14.2 volts very long with the amp at 1/2 ohm
April 10, 200817 yr Brian has a 3000D running at 1 ohm.Clamped it after running it all day and it showed 2,986 watts @ 13.9x somethin volts. He hasn't dropped it yet to .5 ohm...But I'm sure it will be crazy. I have two SAZ 1500's at .5ohm each strapped and its insane....and to think...I have the little brother compared to the big brother(SAZ 3000D)Haven't clamped mine yet but I don't have a clamp meter either..
April 10, 200817 yr after impedance rise, probably about 3200 watts @ 12 volts.and to the person mentioning the saz-3000d making 29xx watts at 1 ohm you are not factoring in impedance rise.
April 10, 200817 yr Indeed... couple of guys swung by here yesterday to test 3000s in their setup. We were getting about 2550 watts with a 1 ohm load and a rise to 3 ohm with 14.4 volt dropping to 12.8 volts.

Cant wait to get started on our next build with all sundown equip. installed.
April 11, 200817 yr youll be fine just be careful with the GAIN setting & bass Boost...try not to clipp the subs
