alright, un doing a job for another cheap ass with a DONK car...... he wants 4 15's ... and wants to spend no more then 125 a sub...... .. o yeah.. he also wants to "bang" and thay have to look shinny cause he wants to invert them....... these poeple make me sick......

i refuse to install that chit.

i also refuse to help people with car audio install based upon a price that i dont agree is enough.

When you get the "know it all" kids sayin "for that much money i could have gotten this and be way louder" crap and others taking that as fact think that we pay too much for what we have.

Then they come up to ya and ask you to do a setup as good or better than what u got for like 1\5th of the price it cost you to build your own.

IF you don't think the output will be great, don't do it.

Tell 'em why and if they don't like it, tell him that's why u dont like it.

Have em go to a shop and try to get them to do it when they probably get charged $500 for for doin a 4 15" install.

and i was tryin to tell the guy that chit....... infact..... check it out he had 4 Q powers in his lincoln.... i told him.. sit in my car.. its only 2 15's.... he tossed me his keys as if to say he wanted to trade......

The Vegas are actually great drivers. Well, at least the red surround V-max drivers were.

Another good cheap choice is the IT series. You can find them here for under $100.

I had a pair of these exact same drivers and they were some of the best 15s I've owned. Sound great in sealed enclosures and can get loud easily. They look great too. The photos really do them no justice.

Tell him he can get one monster sub for $500 and put it in a huge box. To hell with multiple chitty subs.

well he has some chitty as fiberglass box.. covered with this raddy ass carpet, and he wants to use it cause he thinks its clean. its way to big, its not tuned at all.. but it has vents......

i slept on it and i dont think im gonna do this job,

Until someone else comes along and tells the guy how bad his ride sounds, then he blames it on the installer. Best to just walk away from this one, reputation goes a long way.

so i turned the job down.... and someone that has always watched me picked it up... the only problem is really bad with doing chit the fast way and not the right way... that and he knows very little,

so the guy went with some very cheap memphis subs, ran on a memphis 1000/1.... after about 10 calls with questions he got it to work...

so he calls me to check it out... the car owner and wife were very happy with the sound... BUT when he said it was as loud as mine.. i say crank it up.. and he does....... it sounds like 2 10's tuned VERY HIGH.....

so he tells his wife to sit in my car... i have my chick sit in the passenger side and turn it up and then turn up the sub.... his chick JUMPED ... and then said damnnnnnnn...

so i told the guy how to get a better sound..... we will see if he listens....

that is poo...but i will say when the cars like that(i mean the 70-76 impalas and caprices thur 96) are done correctly they look good...in my mag i got....one car had some kicker L7s....nice sealed box too
